$280,000 yearling purchase. Slowly into stride and never a factor when 10L ninth on debut at Fairyhouse (6f, good to firm) last month. Entitled to improve but will need more than that.

$100,000 yearling by Tamarkuz. Dam was unraced. Half-brother to group-placed winner Rebel Tale and La Vale. Nice enough pedigree but yard isn't commonly known for juvenile winners. Market check advised.

Zoffany colt. Not beaten far by useful horse on debut and arguably improved when 2L second at Tipperary (5f, yielding) in June. Likely to have further improvement. Claims.

120,000 gns yearling and related to some smart types. Didn't run badly on debut without threatening when 6L seventh at the Curragh (5f) in June. This trip should suit better and looks to have stable's preferred jockey on board. Not to be dismissed.

Street Boss colt. Placed handily and raced well throughout only to be denied on the line at Navan (5f) at the end of June. Looked as if the step up in trip should suit and yard have had juvenile winners recently. Leading contender.

Fetched €72,000 at the sales. Never a factor after poor start on debut, eventually fading into 10L 15th over C&D at the start of June. Should be more streetwise but significant improvement needed to win.

Elzaam gelding. Rank 100/1 outsider for debut effort and ran accordingly when 12L seventh in 6f Limerick maiden (good) at the end of June. Faces an equally tough task on paper here and makes limited appeal.

Dandy Man filly. Dam was unraced but related to pattern winners, including group 3-winner Berg Bahn and other 7f winners. Pedigree suggests she is speedy enough and is respected for top connections.

By Charm Spirit. Ran respectfully on debut when keeping on fourth (beaten 3L) in C&D maiden two weeks ago. Should go on for that and yard are in top form this season. On the shortlist.

Very cheap purchase as a yearling but didn't run badly on debut when never threatening fifth at Navan (5f) last month. That form looks modest however so will need another step up in this.

Gutaifan filly who made her debut in a tough-looking maiden but was only beaten 8L into seventh at the Curragh (5f) in mid-June. This looks equally as tough however so will need plenty to stake winning claims.

14:00 Naas - 4 July 2020 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

A maiden which looks to have some depth to it, preference is for STREET KID to make it second time lucky in this contest. The two-year-old took the eye on debut when narrowly failing to hold on for a deserved victory and his yard currently have a healthy 22% strike rate with juveniles on the turf this term. The Joseph O'Brien-trained duo of Zoffany's Delight and Tar Heel look the sorts who will keep improving with racing - it is notable the former sports a first-time tongue tie in this - as well as the filly Perfect Sign, while Dame Dandy cannot be ignored for a yard who had a first-time out winner as recently as last week and sports a nice pedigree.
