The Gavin Cromwell-trained MING DYNASTY landed the spoils 12 months in this contest off an 8lb lower mark. The eight-year-old can win this contest once again for a yard who have saddled three winners since racing returned last month. The Gordon Elliott-trained Saint D'Oroux in the colours of Simon Munir and Isaac Souede appears to be the biggest threat following a solid effort in the Grade 3 Fred Winter at the Cheltenham festival in March. The Charles Byrnes-trained Poseidon could be of interest if the subject of a market move while the Gordon Elliott-pair Gealach and Zambezi Fix could land some prize money.
