Beaten 16L when finishing 16th in a big field handicap at Royal Ascot (1m, good) on seasonal debut last month. Interesting to see how he fares in what looks a weaker event.
Ended last season with a neck second in a good ground 7f handicap at Ayr in September. Well held over 1m at Haydock (good) on last months seasonal debut and races off a mark 5lb higher than for his most recent victory.
Has run well on his last two starts including when 2½L fourth over 1m at Redcar (good-to-firm) last weekend. Races off the same mark here and is of interest once more.
Ended his time with Paul Midgley by finishing 2L fourth in a 7f handicap at York (good-to-firm) in June 2018. Changed stables since and market support would be notable on his return from over two years off the track.
Improving with racing this campaign with his most recent start resulting in a 1¾L second in a 1m handicap at Redcar (good-to-firm) last week. Softer ground forecast here no issue and holds strong claims of going one better.
Finished a neck second in a 1m handicap at Haydock (good) last month on his second start back from a break. Has won on the forecast soft ground in the past and is an interesting runner in this contest.
Victorious on the Flat in France for Joseph Tuite in September last year and ran respectably at Craon subsequently. Well held on debut for this stable over an extended 1m at Beverley (good) last month and others hold more obvious claims.
Decent effort in finishing 2¼L fifth in a 1m handicap at Pontefract (good) last time out. Previously a respectable fourth over 1m2f at Haydock (good-to-soft) and market support would be notable in this contest.

The selection has performed well on the forecast underfoot conditions in the past and he can get the better of his rivals here with Rousayan capable of claiming second spot having run well off this mark last time out. Third place can go to Storm Ahead who has won off a higher mark in the past.
