Has shaped ok in bumpers but down the field in two AW runs since changing code and hard to make a case for. Perhaps will do better in handicaps at low level.

Cost just 800 gns at Newmarket sales in January; 150-1 and finished last of seven beaten 19L on debut at Beverley last week; she should be so lucky to win this on that evidence.
Much-improved on second start when scoring at Chelmsford (1m) in October; colt by Frankel should make further progress back on turf after extended winter break and worth watching closely here.

Promising debut second behind useful Kipps at Lingfield in December (beaten a neck); perhaps didn't see out longer trip on return/turf bow at Yarmouth (11/8f) this month and should improve fitness-wise here. Respected.

Promising debut in the autumn at Newmarket (7f, soft) when fifth in a strong contest (four subsequent winners involved); too much of an ask in Listed company at HQ on seasonal bow/second start (50-1) but his more realistic and better to come.

Finished third on debut at Haydock (1m2f, good) this month when not getting clearest run through; likely improver and Oisin Murphy stays on board. Contender.

Kodiac colt, well held in two runs last year; he has undergone a wind operation during the layoff but has plenty to find making this switch to turf.

Matthew Flinders (5/4), First Winter (5/2), Thumur (7/2), Roberto Escobarr (4/1), Prince Imperial (9/1), Formality (14/1), Systemic (33/1), Miraz (50/1), Salam Ya Faisal (100/1), Scudamore (200/1), Ooh La Lah (250/1), Minogue (250/1), Handsome Samson (250/1)

15:30 Doncaster - 30 June 2020 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

Formality was given a thankless challenge in Listed company at Newmarket on second start and the Royal runner likely does much better down in grade here; while Thumur, Prince Imperial and First Winter rate as potential improvers. However, ROBERTO ESCOBARR made a good impression despite a poor start on debut at Haydock and, wiser now, James Doyle's mount could be the one to take this.
  1. Roberto Escobarr
  2. Formality
  3. Thumur
