Not disgraced on stable debut at Chepstow (7f) when fifth of nine under an aggressive ride. Relative unknown over this trip although it could play to his strengths.
Course winner showed a little more over 5f at Chelmsford last time out after a poor run of form prior. Still has something to prove but dropped to a workable mark.
C&D winner in January never able to land a blow back here latest although a wide draw didn't help. Hopefully fare better here but hard to be overly optimistic now.
Already notched three wins this year since joining this yard and although as effective over 5f and 6f the way he finished over 5f here last week suggests he will be even stronger for the extra 1f and looks the one to beat today.
Consistent gelding who won here in December and has since won at Wolverhampton and Chelmsford. Staying on third over 6f at Wolverhampton latest puts him in the frame here.
6lb higher than when winning over C&D last July and must overcome the layoff against mostly race-fit rivals. That said he ran well when last seen at Sandown and remains progressive.
Returned from layoff as he had gone into it with a last place finish when folding quickly at Windsor after leading. Major step forward needed and plenty of doubts at present.
Increasingly frustrating sort hasn't made the frame in five starts this year and although now well treated on best form it would take some leap of faith to be confident.
Forecasts
Tabaahy (6/4), Rewaayat (3/1), Absolutio (9/2), Griggy (11/2), Sword Exceed (12/1), Cappananty Con (20/1), Zac Brown (20/1), King Crimson (80/1)
Since joining the prolific David O'Meara team TABAAHY hasn't run a bad race winning three of five starts. After finishing well over 5f here latest he can use the extra 1f and champion jockey Oisin Murphy's assistance to continue the hot streak. Uber-consistent Griggy will as usual go well and Rewaayat could be a danger too if ready to roll after a lengthy absence.
