Filly by Lope De Vega out of a Galileo mare who won on testing ground. Ran green on debut at Lingfield (1m4f) recently, where she kept on strongly to record a narrow win. Should come on for that and is a big player under her penalty.
Second foal; dam won a 2m hurdle and is sister to the 6f/7½f winner Youhavecontrol, as well as half-sister to the useful 6f-1m7f winner Merchant Of Dubai. Trainer not known for debut winners, so check the market for clues.
€120,000 yearling; 15th foal; sister to four winners, the best of them being German Group 1 winner (1m4f) Baila Me and French 1m7½f Group 1 winner Be Fabulous, out of 1m3f/1m4f winner. Interesting pedigree and could make a nice debut.
Improved on her modest debut effort when stepped up in trip on her reappearance at Yarmouth (1m2f, good) earlier in the month. No surprise to see her improve again here, and could take a closer hand.
Stepped up on her debut run at Newmarket (only juvenile start) when returning to action and trying to make all at Newbury (1m2f, good) recently. Should be capable of better than that, and looks to one to beat this time.
By Gleneagles out of a Darshaan mare. 14-1 on recent debut at Newmarket (1m4f, good to firm), when she was never a serious player and beaten 17L. Can build on that, but may have to wait for other days.
By Golden Horn, out of a Darshaan mare. 33-1, raced keenly and never involved on recent Yarmouth debut (1m2f, good). Could step up on that this time, but is another who might need a bit more time before winning.
250-1 and first impressions are not brilliant based on her debut run here (1m2f, good) earlier in the month. Can only watch this time.
Forecasts
Choral Work (13/8), Summer House (9/4), By My Side (11/2), Immortal Beloved (8/1), Be Easy (10/1), Myseven (12/1), Quiet Rain (250/1), Aethon (250/1)
Summer House has shown that she can win and she could also follow-up under her penalty, but at the same time she is potentially vulnerable to an improver. That may come in the form of CHORAL WORK, who should be suited by steeping up to around 1m4f and can break her duck. By My Side is another possible contender, while a big debut run is not ruled out for the well bred Be Easy.
