Prince Of Lir colt, first foal, £25,000 yearling; half-sister to 2yo winner Cloneylass, and yard have a 19% strike rate with their 2yos here; worth a look in the market for support.
Kodiac colt, first foal, £65,000 yearling; dam was a sprint winner and herself a half-sister to the speedy Pearl Secret; this test should suit and yard have a 16% strike rate with their 2yos here; of great interest.
Kodi Bear colt, €8,000 yearling and a half-brother to a few winners form 6f-10f; yard have a 14% strike rate with their 2yos here but are rather out of form at present.
Strath Burn colt, third foal, makes only moderate appeal on pedigree but ran respectably enough on debut at Doncaster earlier in the month; will know more here but may find one or two too good all the same.
Lethal Force colt that was was easily held in a maiden at Newcastle at the beginning of the month, looking in need of more time; others readily preferred.
Gutaifan colt, €14,000 yearling and a half-brother to several winners, including a couple at sprint trips; suitable test on debut but yard like to let theirs find their feet, so unless strong in market, may be best watched.
Moohaajim colt that's already had two starts, doing better on the second of them at Doncaster despite still looking a bit green; probably more to come but needs to improve, and may be better off in nurseries later in the season.
Buratino colt, £35,000 yearling and a half-brother to several winners including useful 5f/6f winner Berlios; good debut when fourth at Pontefract, beaten a length in fourth after doing plenty wrong in the race; will improve and sets the standard.
Dutch Art gelding, third foal, £30,000 yearling; plenty of speed in the pedigree and bred to be sharp, but gelding for debut sounds a slight warning note. Watch market is the advice.
Forecasts
Tinochio (2/1), Attaboy Roy (5/2), Boogie Time (10/3), Two Cop Bop (14/1), Hope Probe (16/1), Stitcher (16/1), Broxi (20/1), Burning Cash (25/1), Colton (66/1)
TINOCHIO ran very well on hi9s debut at Pontefract, coming home well after doing plenty wrong during the race, and with that experience under his belt, can come out on top here. Boogie Time comes from a yard that know how to win with them first time up and if there's strong support around for him, he must be taken seriously. Burning Cash may be best of the rest.
