55,000 gns yearling; second foal; dam placed 7f-1m4f (inc. at two) and closely related to 1m2f Group 1 winner Sultanina; outran 33-1 SP on debut when ½-length third in Leicester maiden (6f, good to soft) last week. Respected on that showing.
Kodiac filly, price increasing slightly to £55,000 as a yearling and she is a half-sister to several winners including the speedy Lightscameraction; pedigree is all speed and if she is forward enough on debut, could take a hand.

7/2
Exceed And Excel filly, £50,000 foal, dam was a winner over a mile and yard can ready them first time up (11% with their 2yos here); of interest if the market speaks in her favour.

Outstrip filly that was sent off 150-1 for her debut at Newcastle and ran to those odds, finishing a well beaten last of 12, showing nothing; can't be entertained here.

4/1
First foal, dam a mile winner and a half-sister to the Group 1 winner Amazing Maria; yard have a 15% strike rate with their 2yos here and she was sent off favourite for her Newcastle debut, but was a bit too green; likely to improve here.

£22,000 foal, price dropping to £16,000 as a yearling; half-sister to a couple of winners including the speedy sort Three Little Birds. Yard also run Glitterbox Girl and market likely to guide as to their relative chances.

£10,000 yearling, sixth foal; half-sister to a couple of sprint winners in Aberama Gold and John Joiner, but may find a few others quicker today.

12/1
€140,000 yearling, half-sister to several winners including the useful No Jet Lag and French 6f winner Optari; she's bred to be sharp and yard can occasionally ready them first time up; worth a glance in the market for support.

Horse silk
2/1
£110,000 yearling, and a half-sister to 6f winner Inuk and also the very smart The Mackem Bullet; another that's bred to be sharp as a 2yo and yard get plenty ready to win on debut, so has to be of interest today.

Starry Bee
Age: 2|  Weight: 9-0| J: F Norton| T: R C Guest
50/1
£15,000 yearling, realted to a couple of winners but yard rarely have first time up winners, and she's likely to only play a minor part in what looks quite a hot race for the grade.

Forecasts

She's So Nice (2/1), Zoetic (3/1), Hala Hala Hala (7/2), Alghada (4/1), Imperial Butterfly (4/1), Miss Nay Never (12/1), Glitterbox Girl (28/1), Loweswater (33/1), Lucky Ava (50/1), Starry Bee (50/1), Hoofs Happy Now (250/1)

12:15 Thirsk - 22 June 2020 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

Alghada shaped very nicely on her Leicester debut and there are surely races to be won with her, if not this one, but newcomer SHE'S SO NICE is bred to be quick, and for a yard that can ready them at the first time of asking, may be good enough. Imperial Butterfly was well backed on her debut at Newcastle and is probably capable of better than she showed there, and both Glitterbox Girland Miss Nay Never are both worth a look in the market for support, as both make some appeal on breeding.
  1. She's So Nice
  2. Alghada
  3. Imperial Butterfly
