25-1 and was doing his best work towards the finish on at Dundalk debut (7f) that was not without promise last October. Since gelded and could step up on that on his return from a break.

66-1 chance on debut at Dundalk (7f) in December, when never a factor and 14L last of 14. Can only watch on this first start of 2020.
€9,000 foal; 37,000gns 2yo; fourth foal; half-brother to French 1m6f winner Fourada, out of a German/French 1m2½f-1m4f winner. Likely to need a fair bit further than this and probably one to watch on debut.

Fourth foal; dam 5f-6f winner, out of a 5f 2yo AW selling winner. Not the most eyecatching of pedigrees and 10lb claimed on this debut, but this trip looks a peculiar one over which to be starting.

12-1 for his debut at Dundalk (1m) in January, when he briefly threatened to get involved until the tap was turned on, and he ended up 10½L behind the winner in 12th of 14. Much more needed this time but could improve.

First foal; dam was well beaten from 5f-1m1½f and a half-sister to the Listed-placed 6f winner Dawn Eclipse. Not sure what to expect on debut, and probably one to watch.

Gelded son of Kodiac, out of a Noverre mare. 7-1 on debut at Leopardstown (1m, soft) last October, when never really a threat and beaten 14½L. Since gelded and may have more to offer this season.

€13,000 foal; first foal; dam 7f 2yo winning half-sister to useful winners Face The Problem (5f-6f) and Thomas Baines (5f-1m). Market can guide as to debut expectations.

Has been easy to back in both runs so far and beaten just one opponent home. Not seen since August of last year. Steps up in trip, which should suit, but hard to make a case for him.

Clearly not too much was expected on debut, when as a 25-1 shot, he showed promise to be a 2¾L fourth at the Curragh (7f, soft). Then beaten at odds-on at Newmarket next time. The one to beat if he can bounce back.

Not devoid of promise in a couple of starts for Aidan O'Brien as a juvenile. Changed hands privately last autumn and now makes debut for this trainer. Possible improver, but market can guide us in that respect.

17:15 Gowran Park - 19 June 2020 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

KEATS did better than appeared to be anticipated on debut last year, but didn't kick on at Newmarket in November. The extra furlong looks a plus and if he is able to bounce back from the latter effort he is likely to be the one to beat. Kells is a former stablemate of the selection and Aidan O'Brien will have a handle on how they compare. Now with Jessie Harrington, he could have a say. Crashdaparty; Mosala and Frank Arthur are others of interest.
  1. Keats
  2. Kells
  3. Mosala
