12:20 Beverley - 17 June 2020 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

As usual with the juveniles, we're faced with the perennial early season dilemma of experience versus pedigree and potential. However, at Beverley it's often a far simpler approach to favour those drawn low, so the more obvious experienced candidates include Navajo Spring (displayed pace at Newcastle) and Harswell Prince (shaped well after a tardy start at Pontefract). Meanwhile, the Hambleton-trainer Bryan Smart saw his first juvenile runner of the season make the frame at Doncaster on Saturday, and any form of positive market move would offer a deal of encouragement with regards the chances of either Unleash or BLACKBERRY.
  1. Blackberry
  2. Harswell Prince
  3. Navajo Spring
