Bred to be decent, dam a half-sister to numerous good winners but was easily held on his Kempton debut last October; gelded since then and no surprise if he left that debut run behind.
Likely to appreciate a trip like this but there wasn't a lot of promise in two runs last year, and gelded in the mean time; probably one for handicaps after today.
Steady improvment in three starts last year, looking very much in need of further; half-brother to a few winners and better can probably be expected this year, and has place chances here.
Sent off huge prices on both starts to date, showing little;l now tries a hood, but one to watch in handicaps after today.
Half-brother to couple of useful types, including useful 7f winner Richmond Avenue; penny was dropping late on his debut at Kempton last October and he potentially looks a big improver now stepping up in trip.
£160,000 yearling that is closely related to the very useful middle-distance Permian, and also 8f/10f winner Second Wave; good debut when third to the potentially top-class Frankly Darling at Newcastle, travelled well; one with a big chance here.
£62,000 yearling, price falling to £22,000 as a 2yo; half-brother to a couple of 7f winners and there is stamina in the pedigree, but yard invariably take their time with their juveniles, and best watched today.
First foal, dam stayed well and won over just short of 14f; this looks a suitable start point for her but worth noting she had already had a wind operation.
Related to a few useful sorts, including smart miler Skilful and Oaks winner Talent, looked very much in need of the experience when well beaten at Kempton last week; may need more time, but this is easier and she should do better,

Probably only a handful to concentrate on, and of those, ROCKET ROD makes the most appeal. There's probably nothing of the calibre of Frankly Darling in here and he can take advantage of a potentially easier task. Nova Roma looks another potentially big improver after an educational introduction at Kempton and looks the danger. Back From Dubai can surely do better and Deft might be the one for those looking for something each-way.
