Colt by Outstrip out of a Haafhd mare. Well held but by no means disgraced in a couple of initial career starts on the AW at Dundalk in November and when last seen in March. Handicaps likely to be the way forward.

By Kitten's Joy. Expensive recruit to top Jumps stable. Sales price went up from $110,000 as a yearling, to €160,000 as a two-year-old. Knocking on the door, running well in defeat in a number of starts. One to not stepping up in trip.

Colt by War Command out of a Teofilo mare. Closely related to Victory Chime, winner between 1m2f and 1m3f. Watching brief on debut given it's unlikely to be a good sign he is sporting a visor on debut.

The Gordon Elliott-trained LONGCLAW was last seen finishing third of 11 runners in a Listed contest at Kentucky Downs at the end of August before another solid effort at Churchill Downs in November. The Kitten's Joy colt should have plenty in the locker to drop down to this level of maiden on return to action. The three-year-old can get the better of the Noel Meade-trained Crassus and Classify for trainer Dernot Weld in the closing exchanges of the contest. With a number of newcomers in the line-up, consideration should be given to Indicative Vote for trainer Ger Lyons, the Mick Halford-trained Leylak and Pugin in the colours of the Gigginstown House Stud.
