2
(13)
Horse silk
9/1
Cost $280,000 as a yearling; ; 10th foal; closely related to US turf miler Peace Achieved; obvious chance if ready first time up.
Bought for 60,000 euros as a yearling; related to Listed class performers; may find a few too classy but worth a check in the market.

(3)
Horse silk
40/1
10th foal; not a natural start based on breeding and unlikely to be good enough in this contest.
5
(9)
Horse silk
80/1
Cost 24,000 euros as a yearling though later resold for 16,000 euros; no great shakes on breeding; stable's only other runner finished well down the field at Leopardstown the other day.
6
(11)
Horse silk
7/2
Fetched 50,000 euros as a foal: fourth foal; half-brother to winners Micro Manage and Highway to Heaven; hard to assess on debut.

(10)
Horse silk
20/1
Bought for 25,000 euros as a yearling; related to a few minor winners in Japan and Denmark; hard to see him being good enough on debut.
8

Horse silk
14/1
Lawman colt out of a Dansili mare; cheaply bought as a yearling; 10th foal; related to minor winners but another unlikely to be good enough.

Horse silk
25/1
Bought for 9,500 euros as a yearling; has winners in his pedigree but does not seem the type to be good enough on debut.

(15)
Horse silk
16/1
Cost 15,000 euros as a yearling; fifth foal; none of his half brothers or sisters won a race but his dam was placed as a two-year-old and is related to some fair sprinting types.

50/1
Fifth foal; dam related to some precocious sorts but hard to recommend unless significant market support.
14
(12)
Horse silk
20/1
Cheaply bought as a yearling; first foal; dam was placed as a juvenile but overall breeding does not suggest him as the likely winner of this contest.
15
(1)
Horse silk
16/1
Price doubled to 13,000 euros from a foal to a yearling; overall breeding profile suggests she will need further than this trip in time.
16
(8)
Horse silk
12/1
Very little to recommend on breeding and only sustained market support would suggest she is ready first time up.

13:00 Fairyhouse - 15 June 2020 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

On breeding this looks like a fight between the top two on the race card. Slight preference goes to MY BOY CHARLES who cost $280,000 as a yearling and is related to the classy Peace Achieved. Strong market support would suggest connections have got him spot on for his debut. His main rival will be Giorgio Vasari who is another impeccably-bred newcomer being a half-brother to the talented sprinter Sioux Nation. Both may have preferred a more favourable draw. State Of Rest comes from a decent family and he may prove best of the rest.
  1. My Boy Charles
  2. Giorgio Vasari
