Well down the field on her debut over 1m on the AW (Lingfield) earlier in the year, raced freely but ultimately finished well held. Looks one for the longer term and handicaps eventually, unlikely to trouble the principals in this.
Newcomer, very much has a middle-distance pedigree, second foal, half-sister to Group-placed 1m4f winner Promissory, dam 1m3f-1m4f winner (including AW/Group 1). Won't be a surprise to see her make an impression in this contest.

Fought out the finish of her only race so far as 2yo with another Golden Horn filly coming off second best at Doncaster (1m, heavy) but lost nothing in defeat. Form subsequently given some boosts; repeating that run would see her go close.

Galileo filly, hooded for her debut from a yard that have their share of Flat winners. 150,000gns yearling, sister to 1m-1m2f winner Impulsive Moment, dam winner up to 1m1f (2yo 6f winner), faces a stiff enough task but sure to do better in time.

One of two newcomers from this yard; Frankel filly (hooded for debut), closely related to multiple Group 1 winner Enable, half-sister to four winners including 1m4f-1m7f winner Contribution, stable amongst the winners, hard to ignore her chance.

Hinted at some ability on her 2yo debut at Lingfield over 1m before failing to build on that promise over the same C&D a couple of weeks later (ridden more positively). Unlikely to make much of an impression until trying staying handicaps.

The second Frankel newcomer from this yard; closely related to 7f AW 2yo/1m Listed winner Waldnah, half-sister to four winners including Masked Marvel (Group 1 St Leger winner), market to provide clues to the relative merits of the Gosden pair.

Given a stiff task for her debut; second foal, dam 1m winner, half-sister to smart 7f/1m winner Vale Of Kent. Decent enough pedigree, likely to need this experience with some potentially very useful fillies in opposition.

A question of promise and some proven ability against top-class pedigrees making their debut. GOLD WAND gave a good demonstration of her long-term potential with a good second on her only start so far at Doncaster (only beaten a neck by leading Oaks fancy Domino Darling) over 1m on testing ground, the form as a whole has worked out well. John Gosden gives two Frankel fillies their debut with Portrush a half-sister to Group 1 winning mare Enable of particular interest. Waldfabel her stablemate is no slouch in the pedigree stakes and neither is another debutante Flower Of Scotland (a daughter of Group 1 winner Seal Of Approval). Lady Sansa adds some more depth to the contest.
  1. Gold Wand
  2. Portrush
  3. Waldfabel
