Successful in 1m novice events at Salisbury (good) and Brighton (soft) in the autumn, and while not certain to stay on pedigree, his strength at the finish suggests he will relish this trip in handicap debut.

All three juvenile starts on AW, finishing second on first two occasions, Disappointing favourite (raced freely) when last seen, and needs to show he's effective on turf now making handicap bow.

From a good middle-distance family, and made a promising debut when second at Wolverhampton (1m1½f) in November. Confirmed that promise by taking 1¼m novice at Lingfield in December, and a big player if taking as expected to turf at first attempt.

Improved from encouraging second on debut with a game success in 1m Newcastle novice in January. Not seen to best effect when runner-up at Lingfield ( 1¼m) in March, and should yet do better at this trip and further.

Better effort last term when fourth on debut at York (1m) in October. Again looked in need of further at Kempton subsequently, and goes handicapping with scope for better.

Gained due reward for a number of placed efforts when scoring over the extended mile at Wolverhampton in October. Ran to form when fourth over 1m3f at Kempton in March, but hard to see where necessary improvement will come from.

Narrow second at Windsor in August, and went one better when winning Wolverhampton novice (7f) later in the month. Just a fair fifth of 9 on sole nursery start at Newmarket, however, and just 1lb lower now. Others more persuasive.

Won a 7f seller at Newmarket and 1m nurseries at Salisbury and Pontefract as a juvenile. Well held on both starts at this trip last year, though, and while bred to stay well, seems to face a stiff enough task on her return. .

No closer than fourth in a trio of starts over 7f last term, showing only modest form. Bred for better at this trip and beyond, though, so not a huge surprise if he improved having been gelded over the winter.

Promising effort on debut at York (7f) in September, but failed to improve in two subsequent starts, albeit not disgraced. Should do better now handicapped and up in trip, but looks no more than averagely treated.

There was a lot to like about the way OLEKSANDER maintained his 100% record at Brighton in October, and neither easy ground nor this longer trip should hold any fears on that evidence, so he's preferred to promising Polytrack winner Kipps and London Arch, who wasn't seen to best effect in a tactical race at this trip last time, and had made a good impression winning at Newcastle prior to that.
  1. Oleksander
  2. Kipps
  3. London Arch
