Yard have a good record with 2yo debutantes here (and overall); cost €400,000 as a yearling. Half-brother to several winners, including very smart 1m (including as a 2yo) Persuasive; dam also a 2yo winner, very much on the shortlist.
€140,000 yearling and in good hands, second foal, half-brother to French 1m winner Gena. Dam a winner at up to 1m2f (half-sister to a couple of winners), Yard represented in the previous three 2yo races, they may provide a useful guide to his chance.
Yard 2-23 with first-time out 2yo's last year; £35,000 yearling, third foal, half-brother to useful winner at up to 6f (2yo 5f winner). Dam unraced half-sister to 1m Group 3 winner Chigun, others appeal more given the strength of the contest.
Yard 0-6 with course 2yo debutantes last year (represented here in two earlier contests with newcomers). 72,000gns yearling, third foal, half-brother to winners Marboot and Anniemation, dam 2yo 5f winner, may be one for further down the line.
Early days for this yard with 2yo's (had one winning newcomer); pedigree suggests he could be an early type. £37,000 yearling, second foal, half-brother to 5f/6f 2yo AW winner Dazzling Des, dam 5f 2yo winner, worthy of a market check.
Reported to be a sharp sort he looks like he will require this 6f although easier ground might be needed (any rain would be appreciated). Dam 2yo 5f winner (half-sister to a smart Italian winner); not one to ignore given the positive reports.
Trainer 0-57 since 2015 with 2yo newcomers (have an earlier runner) which doesn't augur well for the chance of Bobby's Kitten. Half-brother to several winners including a couple of useful sorts; dam 2yo 6f winner, would be a surprise winner though.
Fifth foal, £130,000 yearling from a stable that are always to be respected with their 2yo newcomers (have a fancied runner in first division of this). Half-brother to a winner in Greece; dam 6f turf 2yo/1m AW winner; should make his presence felt in
Stable already have a couple of useful performers by this sire (Footstepsinthesand) in Threat and Mums Tipple. 58,000gns as a yearling and looked like being one of the yard's early runners; dam 6f winner, already attracted some good market vibes.
Part-owned by the trainer's father; €14,000 yearling from a yard with a modest record with newcomers in juvenile races. Dam AW winner at 1m, half-sister to useful 7f winner Felwah. May pick up a contest in future but others make more appeal at presen
First foal, £36,000 yearling, dam 7f winner, sister to 5f Group 1 winner Move In Time. Yard have an interesting contender in the first division (Nando Parrado) and this one has similar prospects; worth keeping a check on in the market.
Forecasts
Dark Lion (2/1), Creative Force (7/2), Saeiqa (4/1), Imperial Force (5/1), Saunton (11/1), Northbound (25/1), Yuan Prince (25/1), Snash (28/1), Merry Secret (50/1), Imperial Fora (66/1), Run Forrest Run (100/1)
The second division of this first 6f 2yo contest of the season with eight of the stables represented 35 minutes earlier taking their chance again here. As with the later divided contest it may pay to take heed of the first division. Creative Force is sure to be popular given Charlie Appleby’s good record with 2yo newcomers particularly at this course but SAUNTON is a speculative each-way suggestion. Already subject to some good support the Hannon runner looks of interest. Dark Lion, Saeiqa and Yuan Prince are others that all deserve a mention in a race where little information is available.
