The gelding by Kalanisi has improved 18lb since January the first and with jockey Adam Short the pair have struck up quite a combination. Chalky White, the mount of Rachael Blackmore got off the mark at the fourth time of asking when landing a Thurles handicap hurdle over a similar trip earlier this month off an 8lb lower mark and can give a good account once again. Scheu Time, a winner at Cork in December and the Gordon Elliott-trained Texard appear capable of competing for minor honours.
