Modest on the Flat, confirmed the promise of his debut hurdles effort when winning at Hexham (2m, maiden hurdle). Run well in a couple of 0-120 handicaps since (outclassed last time); may well be vulnerable under his penalty.
Up in trip after three months off he very much caught the eye in a Newbury novice hurdle last time (did best work late on). Never on terms he looked one who had more to give in an easier contest; would have leading claims.
Placed in his two Irish point-to-points he's very much bred for the jumping game and did show some promise on his Catterick Rules debut despite being 100-1. Eventually finished well held (beaten 32L); looks one for handicaps later on.
Not seen since finishing third in his only Irish point-to-point start, May 2018 (all those who finished around him has since won under Rules). Cost £66,00 as a 4yo, half-brother to temperamental but fair chaser Albatros de Guye, note in market.
Justified support on his Rules debut in a Southwell bumper without being fully extended (race lacked depth). Shaped with promise when sent hurdling (still looked to learning) when splitting a pair of useful sorts at Chepstow. Tongue-tie now on.
Rules debut having finished last of three finishers in his sole completed start in point-to-points (April 2018). Hard to make a case for him here up against some improving types.
Gelded prior to his debut he's a half-brother to the stable star Lady Buttons (useful hurdler/smart chaser). May well attract some interest on that basis alone although the yard are going well this year; already had a wind op.
100-1 on his hurdling debut he shaped in line with that SP, racing well off the pace and left behind from around four out. Faces another stiff test and makes nothing more than very limited appeal.

There are two that stand out in this with GLOBAL FAME given the verdict having won a bumper on his debut in decent fashion and then followed up last time chasing home impressive subsequent Grade 2 winner Harry Senior on his hurdling bow at Chepstow. Now tongue-tied for the first-time his stable are having an excellent season. Coeur Serein will make sure that the suggestion doesn’t have it all his on way having shaped with a lot of promise at Newbury last time. Raashdy looks anchored by his penalty and the market may well tell the story surrounding the newcomers Robin Des Chapp and Eagle De Guye.
