Made a useful start to his career over fences reeling off a handicap hat-trick at up to 2m7f in August/September. Not quite in the same form since especially when pulled up here last time; looks to have it to do at the weights.
Grand servant down the years with 12 wins.. Career has been plagued by injury and absence over the last three years; put in one of his better runs last time out at Cheltenham over a similar trip; possibilities if in the mood.
Was in fine form this time last year but faced some tough challenges subsequently and form tailed off slightly; step up in trip could be the key to him rediscovering some form after wind surgery.
From a yard that has found this season a struggle; twice a winner over fences he looked on the way back on his penultimate start. That proved a false dawn however when below-par last time, hard to make a case for in a competitive race.
Arguably better over further and was a little below par last time when sent over this trip; does have ability and it would be no surprise seeing him run a big race.
Versatile mare who is an improving sort over fences but still able to run excellent races over hurdles; seeking a chase hat-trick here after wins at Fontwell and Warwick; not to be taken lightly.
Decent hurdler who won on his chase debut at Plumpton in October; ran as though something amiss next time at Sandown but showed his well being when scoring easily here over three miles last time; good chance if coping with step back in trip.
Returned from long lay off at Southwell in August but pulled up after halfway; slightly better when next seen in December at Cheltenham; difficult to assess at present and hard to recommend.
Twice an odds-on winner over fences at Uttoxeter (2m); showed little when upped in class subsequently and last seen competing in a bumper at Wolverhampton; hard to see him being involved.
Seemed to have lost his way following a useful effort at the Cheltenham Festival last year but showed enough better form recently at Cheltenham and Wetherby to suggest this type of race is within his compass.
Took out a valuable contest at Leopardstown (2m1f, yielding; 20-1) over Christmas in good style; followed up with useful win at Ayr earlier this month and although more work to do, looks one of the more likely winners.
Winner over an extended 2m6f at Leicester (good-to-soft) in December and was an early casualty when falling over the same C&D next time; progressive effort three weeks ago here and should progress; leading chance.
Ran well enough on first two chase starts but improved a bundle to score easily at Fakenham on penultimate start; limitations possibly exposed at Cheltenham next time but could have fair place hopes if running up to best.
Looked to be going the right way when scoring well at Sandown in January but failed to follow up when well below par next time out at Cheltenham; this course may suit better and not without a chance if improving.
Sole win over fences came in a three-runner affair at Plumpton when odds on favourite; recent form not so great but has performed well over course and distance in the past and market moves would be interesting.
Stayed on well to win over course and distance in December but needs to bounce back quite significantly from two poor subsequent efforts.
Two easy victories at Ludlow and Catterick were punctuated by a fall at Ludlow in January; much more needed on the balance of form though could still be progressive.
Useful hurdler/chaser for this yard and was a decent stayer for Michael Bell previously. Not in the best form over jumps this season however so this looks tough.
Had seven chase starts to date, yet to score although unlucky at Plumpton last October when falling, looking the likely winner at the time; cheekpieces tried last twice produced little better though, and he might need more in this hot company.
Has yet to look totally convincing over fences and it would take a huge amount of improvement on all known form to win this.

SENSULANO has been showing enough progression over fences to suggest this is a race she is capable of winning. A repeat of either her runs when winning at Fontwell and Warwick would see her run well and showed her versatility with a good effort over hurdles last time out. Garde La Victoire may be advancing in years but showed he still has ability last time out at Cheltenham. If running as well again, he could spring a surprise. Pistol Whipped has been in good form and his performance last time out warrants closer inspection. He could go very close.
