Winner at Uttoxeter in December (heavy ground) but then pulled up at Chepstow last time, never really going with any enthusiasm; real hit-or-miss stuff from the yard this season, so he comes with risk now.
Generally consistent but did throw in a bad one at Chepstow last time out,, which needs forgiving; possible the handicapper has him now but last two wins have come here, so could do better under conditions he likes.
Only second start for this yard and not seen out for best part of 17 months after finishing second at Uttoxeter; handles most ground and trip fine, but after such an absence, is best watched unless there's market support.
Has fallen a fair way in the handicap over the past year but some more positive signs on her last two starts, runner-up both times, and these conditions fine; getting a bit long in the tooth but has place chances.
Winner at Lingfield in November and has continued in decent form since then, including latest second at Newbury in a more competitive race than this; stays well and handles heavy, so looks one of the more likely ones.
Rattled off a hat-trick of wins in the autumn but found life a bit harder from her revised mark after that; latest second over hurdles at Lingfield was off a 9lb lower mark, so has a bit more to do today; chances in a weak race.
This will only be his third start in the last two years, so has clearly had a few problems; never really looked happy at Chepstow on reappearance and although jockey booking is eyecatching, others make more appeal.
Has enough form at the track to make him worth a second look, but isn't the best of jumpers and plugged on only at one pace for a distant second at Bangor last time.
Done next to nothing in last four starts over fences to suggest he's up to making an impact here, well beaten off; mark falling quickly but that's not enough to tempt you in.
Third over C&D in December, a run which would give him place chances if he can repeat it, but he's hard to win with and two efforts since then have been lacking. Can make mistakes, and others preferred.
Going nowhere last two starts but three placed efforts previous to that give her some hope here; bottom line is, you have to go back two years to find her last win, so may be playing for places only.

Most of these are inconsistent, or simply out of form, and it looks a good opportunity for PRES, who has been running in races a bit more competitive than this. With conditions fine, he can get back on the scoresheet. Definately Vinnie almost made it home in front here last time and if he can repeat that effort, then he can get in the places at worst. Take your pick from Misty Mai, Heavenly Promise and Lac Sacre, all of whom hold chances if bouncing back, in the race for the bronze medal.
