Get On The Yager was just starting to feel the pinch when stumbling badly three out (lost all chance thereafter) at Ascot last month, but will undoubtedly find this race an easier option. However, he isn't the easiest of horses to win with nowadays and the suspicion is that the Venetia Williams-trained COMMODORE will seek to take a firm grasp on this small-field affair from the outset, making the most of a slowly easing handicap mark (admittedly still 8lb above his last winning mark).
