Returning from a break when finishing fourth on chase debut in a novices' handicap event over an extended 2m7f at Chepstow (heavy) in December. Likely to have improved for the experience.
Made a winning return from a short break when successful over an extended 3m1f at Plumpton (soft) just over a month ago. Raised 3lb for that triumph and looks likely to play a leading role once more.
Put a disappointing effort in the Welsh Grand National behind him when finishing runner-up to Over To Same in a novices' handicap chase over an extended 3m1f at Plumpton (soft) last month. Has won over C&D in the past.
Decent effort in finishing third in a novices' handicap chase over an extended 2m7f at Chepstow (heavy) in December. Given a short break since and races off a mark 5lb higher than when winning over this C&D in October.
Out of form in two starts isnce winning over 2m7f at Worcester (good-to-soft) in October including when beaten 77L in finishing fifth over this C&D on soft ground at the start of last month. Wears blinkers for the first time.
Unbeaten in three point-to-point starts and recorded his first Rules victory when winning by 12L over an extended 2m7f at Chepstow (heavy) three weeks ago. Bold show likely despite a 10lb rise in the weights.
Impressive 19L winner fo a small field handicap hurdle over an extended 2m7f at Uttoxeter (heavy) in December. Struggled at Haydock subsequently and interesting to see how he fares on his return to chasing.

OVER TO SAM was a winner at Plumpton last time out and he can confirm form with Virginia Chick who chased the selection home that day. The latter, trained by Evan Williams may have to give best to Springfield Fox in the battle for second spot however with the last named impressing when recording his first victory over fences on his most recent outing.
