Out of form earlier this season including when finishing down the field in a handicap hurdle over an extended 2m5f at Wincanton (good-to-soft) in November when last in action. Others make more appeal dropping in trip on return from a break.
Dual winner and has been running well in defeat of late most recently when sixth over an extended 2m4f at Huntingdon (soft) last month. Hood worn for the first time that day is retained dropping in distance.
Finished runner-up on her last two starts including in a 2m4f novices' handicap hurdle at Sandown (heavy) at the start of this month. Races off a 6lb higher mark here and is one to note for a leading stable.
Point-to-point winner last spring and winner of two of her three starts under Rules so far including by 11L over 2m7f in a maiden event on heavy ground here a month ago. Tongue tie tried for the first time down in trip on handicap debut.
Improved on debut for this stable when finishing 10L second over an extended 3m on soft ground in December. Races off the same mark here and is interesting if replicating that effort.
Three time hurdle winner most recently at Hexham (2m, heavy) in March last year. First start since wind surgery when finishing 3L second at Uttoxeter (2m, heavy) earlier this month and is of interest upped in trip despite a 3lb rise in the weights.
Returned to form with a victory over this C&D on soft ground at the start of last month. Struggled when 23L seventh off this 3lb higher mark at Chepstow (heavy) later that month and others look more reliable propositions.
Forecasts
Lisa De Vassy (7/4), Kilconny Bridge (5/2), Jubilympics (7/2), Midnight Sapphire (9/1), Llantara (12/1), Daytime Ahead (14/1), Kentford Heiress (80/1)
LISA DE VASSY represents a top yard and she can defy a 6lb rise in the weights to take this small field handicap hurdle. The selection is taken to see off Kilconny Bridge who is dropping back in distance here while third place can go the way of Llantara who is making her second start since returning from wind surgery.
