2m5f course winner over hurdles (good) last season. Won his first handicap at Uttoxeter (2m4f, soft) in November, when 9lb lower. Went close off 2lb lower at Haydock next time. Not disgraced latest, and very much a player down slightly in grade.
Won on stable debut for Nicky Henderson at Warwick 13-months ago (2m, good to soft) but below that level in two more runs for that trainer. Step back in right direction when held at Catterick on first run for this yard. Interesting now 5lb lower.
Multiple chase winner at up to 2m5f, including on testing ground. 1-8 over hurdles, and hasn't yet looked like transferring his chasing form back to hurdles. Has the ability, but carries risks.
Bumper winner who scored at both Hereford and Plumpton over hurdles at around 2m4f, on his first two starts for this trainer, in November. 2lb higher than the latter here, but out of sorts lately and now has a bit to prove.
Multiple hurdles winner last season, being well placed to score six times at up to 3m2f, mostly on good ground. Has lost his way this term, but is back on a handy mark as a result. Plenty to prove on testing ground, however.
1-16 over hurdles, and that came in a mares' novice event in 2017. Has run well over C&D this season, but hard to fancy her on the form of her three runs since.

Several out of form runners appear here who would have the ability to have a big say if at their best. It could, therefore, produce a muddling race and also result. However, the suggestion is INFORMATEUR, who can take advantage of a drop in grade and win again. Laskadine is also of interest from today's mark, despite recent efforts, while Uno Mas has also been cut some slack, but has it to prove on the ground.
