Eight-race maiden who has hit the frame on seven of those starts. The gelding finished second of eight 1L adrift of future winner, Fakir in a Limerick novice hurdle over a similar trip in December. Leading player.

33/1
Five career runs have been punctuated by long absences. Last of 14 when last seen in a Gowran Park maiden hurdle over a similar trip. Not in the form required to pay a part.
3
Horse silk
33/1
Brought down when still in touch at the third last in a Naas 2m maiden hurdle earlier this month in a run that may have flattered to deceive. best avoided unless market vibes suggest otherwise.

The Broghie Man13
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-11| J: J S McGarvey| T: P Roche| OR:  120
10/3
Posted a career best effort finishing second of 22 beaten ½L over C&D last month before another runner-up position at Thurles earlier this month. Recent efforts suggest plenty of improvement and approached with plenty of respect.

66/1
Well Chosen gelding out of a Good Thyne mare. Closely related to point-to-point winner Wild Rover and Moment Of Glory, victorious on the Flat and over hurdles at 2m/2m6f.
6
Horse silk
66/1
Well beaten on all his racecourse appearances including on his only try over hurdles. Others more appealing on the back of his run at Fairyhouse last month.
Oscar gelding from a fair jumping family. Fifth of 19 on debut at Fairyhouse last month given a ride eventually questioned by the stewards. Worth a market check on second start.
8
Horse silk
100/1
Sent off at big prices on his first two starts for connections at Cork in November and Navan in December before running accordingly on each occasion. Others more convincing.
9
Horse silk
16/1
Promise in last two bumpers but never involved on hurdles debut at Cork where he eventually tailed in 19th of 24. Will do better soon enough but hard to fancy here.
10
Horse silk
9/2
Never troubled leaders when finishing fourth of 26 beaten over 11L on maiden hurdle debut at Navan in December. Shouldn't be underestimated.
Unsold €17,000 as a three-year-old son of Robin Des Champs. Closely related to Born By The Sea 2m1f winner over hurdles. Best watched on debut.
12
Horse silk
33/1
September Storm gelding out of a Taipan mare. Pleasing debut to finish second of 15 beaten 9¾L at odds of 50/1 in a Downpatrick maiden hurdle when last seen in June.
13
Horse silk
6/4
Spirit One gelding. Will have disappointed connections in a couple of hurdle spins at Fairyhouse and when last seen in December at Leopardstown over 2m4f. More needed.
14
Horse silk
100/1
Fame And Glory gelding out of a Be My Native mare. Closely related to dual hurdle and chase winner, successful between 2m and 2mf, House Rules. Well behind on first couple of starts over hurdles and plenty to prove here.

Generally well beaten, never troubling the leaders in three starts over hurdles so far. Liable to find a couple stronger once again.

Placed in three of her 10 starts on the Flat, where she stays at least 1m4f. Pulled up before last when tailed off on dismal debut effort at Fairyhouse last month.

GOAHEADWITHTHEPLAN can build on a satisfying debut run at Navan in December to land the spoils here at the expense of the improving The Broghie Man for trainer Padraig Roche. The Denis Hogan-trained Bal De Rio should not be taken lightly following a fine second of eight 1L adrift of future winner, Fakir in a Limerick novice hurdle over a similar trip in December. All About Joe and newcomer Robindevidastar could be worthy of more consideration as post time approaches.
