Landed a third C&D win narrowly nine days ago, getting up near the finish. Is generally consistent and should run his race but nudged up 2lb and has never won off a mark this high, and that may prevent a follow-up.
Was in good form back in June/July, but has been quiet in five starts since. Now 2lb below the mark he scored off at York (5f, good to firm) in June. The return to 5f should suit but he has yet to show his best on the AW.
Beat Tathmeen over C&D in January and followed-up at Kempton later in the month. Up a total of 10lb for his two wins and whilst you can't doubt his fine fettle, he has struggled off handicap marks above 70. Career-best required.
Been in fair form in recent starts and won cosily at Wolverhampton (6f) when last seen 67 days ago. Up 4lb for that effort and has find life tough off marks above 70 so more is required but this stiff 5f should suit.
Has recorded all three career wins here over 5f/6f. Ran well in defeat on his last two outings here (5f/6f) but handicapped slow to relent and is still 3lb above his last winning mark but shouldn't be far away.
Prolific winner over this trip but is 0-6 on the AW. Won twice last year, most recently off 3lb lower at Beverley in September. Yard having a quiet spell (four months without a winner) and this veteran may need to blow away the cobwebs.
Ran well behind an in-form rival when second last time at Wolverhampton (6f). His losing run is beginning to mount up but he's fairly handicapped and will be keeping on all the way if there's a strong gallop.
Dual winner last year and ran well in a big field at Ayr three starts ago. 0-7 from on the AW and never got involved on his return from a break here last month. Had wind surgery since but yard are on the cold list and he's not getting any younger.
C&D winner off 6lb higher in October 2018. Form has been notably downhill since then, including when well beaten on all three starts last year. Off for 301 days and only market positivity would make him worth a second look.
Won twice at Wolverhampton (5f) in December but has paid the price with a big rise in the weights. This is more competitive and whilst he's placed off this sort of mark in the past, will need to be on top form to lift the prize.
Won her first two races in December 2018 for Martyn Meade but didn't match that form in three runs last year. Made her stable debut nine days ago here (6f) when she trailed in last of six, beaten 13L. Can't be recommended on that.
Won at Haydock in August off 2lb lower but form tailed off after that. Returned from a break to finish last over 6f here last month, beaten 9½L. Has never shown her best here and is best watched until signs of a revival.
Triple turf winner at up to 6f. Lost form last summer and went on the slide in the handicap as a result. Hasn't faired any better in two runs here (7f/6f) recently. Plenty to prove at present.
Ex-Irish maiden who hasn't shown much at all in three starts for this yard both here and at Wolverhampton. Dropped 14lb in total but is hard to enthuse over at present.

Tathmeen, Spirit Power and Aloysius Lilius have been in good form recently but have paid the price with the handicapper as a result. They should all not be far away if running up to form. The tentative selection, however, is BIG LACHIE. He ran well behind a red-hot rival last time and the prospect of a strong gallop will suit this C&D winner.
