Winner over this trip at Chelmsford last month and finished a good second at Newcastle (7f) subsequently. Slightly disappointing when beaten 5L into sixth at Kempton (7f) on his latest outing and interesting to see how he fares in this event.
C&D winner was beaten a short-head in a 1m handicap at Chelmsford on his penultimate start and is an interesting runner in this contest despite finishing only fifth, beaten 3½L in a handicap over this distance at Kempton at the end of last month.
Wore cheekpieces (absent here) for the first time when finishing 2L fifth in a six runner 7f handicap at Lingfield a month ago. Market support would be notable dropping in grade.
Winner of two of his last three starts including by ½L in a 7f handicap on the fibresand at Southwell last time out. Races off a 2lb higher mark here and is a notable runner off a mark 1lb lower than when winning over this C&D in December 2018.
Returned from a break with a head second in a 7f handicap at Lingfield last month. Races off a 1lb higher mark here and he is worth a check in the market upped in class.
Multiple winner on the Flat and over hurdles including over this distance. Most recent Flat success was well over two years ago however and he is probably best watched on his first start since falling over fences at Kempton in March last year.
ROBERO has won off a higher mark here in the past and having proven his wellbeing with a couple of fibresand victories in recent times he can make a winning return to this venue with a success in this 7f handicap. The selection can get the better of Glenn Coco who was narrowly beaten on his penultimate start while third place can go the way of Double Kodiac who placed on his only previous AW start.
