1lb higher than when last winning at Chepstow (2m7½f, soft) in November. Held in all starts since, including under this 3lb claimer last time. Slipping back down the weights and no surprise to see him much more competitive this time.

Heavy ground debut bumper win in 2017 remains he only success to date. Couldn't get in much of a blow over hurdles, but handicapper was asking too much of him and did better when 4lb lower on chase debut last time. Interesting back up in trip.

10-race maiden who has put in a couple of respectable efforts over fences in recent months, including when second over C&D, when 2lb lower in October. More needed, but looks likely to be thereabouts again.

Dual chase winner on testing ground at up to 3m1f, but it is almost two years and now 12 runs since the latter. Has put in some respectable efforts in defeat this season, however, and can't be discounted after another 2lb drop.

1-9 over fences, having scored at Wetherby in December (3m, soft), when 6lb lower. Stayed on for third back over that C&D from today's mark last month, and entitled to enter calculations again.

Made a good start over fences, winning on his second attempt at Huntingdon (2m7½f, good) 13-months ago, when on this mark. Hasn't been quite as good as that recently, but still picking up prize money and handles heavy, so can't write him off.

14-race maiden. Placed on three occasions over fences, stays 3m2f and acts on testing ground. Hard to make a strong case for her based on her last two starts, but would have a squeak from his mark if reproducing her November Plumpton effort.

Showed glimpses of ability over hurdles from higher marks. Beaten a long way on his chase debut at Chepstow (2m7½f, heavy) last month, so much more needed.

Triple chase winner at up to 3m1f, all on testing ground. Returned from a 617-day absence to show he retains enthusiasm with a 5L third from this mark over shorter at Chepstow last month. Interesting back up in trip, if this doesn't come too soon.

C&D winner on heavy last season, when 1lb higher. Has a clear chance based on that form and his next two runs from higher marks. Not as good since, but better effort from that same winning mark at Wetherby latest, so can't rule him out.

Jury still out as to his ability over fences, particularly over this trip, but his second effort at Ffos Las (2m5f, heavy) in November, when 2lb lower, make him tough to write off.

Good ground 3m hurdle winner in 2018. 0-4 over fences, her best effort being in a mares' chase last season, also on good. Plenty to prove in these conditions.
