Horse silk
Allavina
Age: 5|  Weight: 10-12| J: Aidan Coleman| T: O Murphy
11/2
Getaway mare, half-sister to bumper winner/fair hurdler One Cool Scorpion. Dam unraced. Highly respected on debut for yard with 28% strike-rate in bumpers the last 12 months and in superb form now.
2
Horse silk
Aurello29
Age: 6|  Weight: 10-12| J: G Sheehan| T: W Greatrex
40/1
Has shown some ability in three starts, although the best of those was her first. Will need improvement to win this, even accounting for a recent pipe-opener.
3
Horse silk
Cimetta
Age: 5|  Weight: 10-12| J: J Reveley| T: M Herrington
22/1
Half-sister to a bumper and dual 1m4f Flat winner, and a soft ground 2m3f hurdle winner. Stable 1-8 (plus two placed) in bumpers over past five seasons. Worth a market check ahead of her debut.
4
Horse silk
Dionette
Age: 6|  Weight: 10-12| J: S Francois(3)| T: Y Mathijs
10/1
First foal of an unraced dam. French trainer has had no recorded British runners in the past five seasons, so looks one to watch on debut.
5
Horse silk
First Romanceh1120
Age: 5|  Weight: 10-12| J: R P McLernon| T: P R Webber
50/1
Shirocco filly out of a Grade 2 winning mare. Debut run at Ludlow in October wasn't devoid of promise, hood added and may want a longer trip.
€55,000 three-year-old Fame And Glory mare. Dam unraced half-sister to useful hurdler/very smart chaser (Grand National winner) Ballabriggs. Bumper runners from Seven Barrows much-respected.
7
Horse silk
Jeans Genieh1288
Age: 5|  Weight: 10-12| J: Adrian Heskin| T: S Drinkwater
66/1
Daughter of Kayf Tara out of a mare who won on the Flat and five times over hurdles. 20-1 on debut, when she produced a respectable effort to be 11L fourth at Fontwell last April. Returns for different trainer in a hood. Improvement anticipated.
8
Horse silk
Little Red Devil41
Age: 5|  Weight: 10-12| J: David Bass| T: B Pauling
80/1
Sent off 20-1 on debut at Chepstow in December, when she finished a distant last. Reported to have been unsuited by heavy ground there, so could see more from her on this very different surface.
9
Horse silk
Marada60
Age: 5|  Weight: 10-12| J: Harry Skelton| T: D Skelton
9/2
From a good family and 66-1 third in C&D Listed bumper in December sets the standard of those that have run (underwent wind op after debut). There should be more to come.
Sans Frontieres mare. Half-sister to bumper winner/fairly useful hurdler Lowtown Charlie and fairly useful hurdler/chaser Crazy Jack. 0-3 in point-to-points and others more convincing now.
11
Horse silk
150/1
Well held on debut at Fakenham in October. Made some improvement on that when beating three home in a mares' bumper at Ludlow last time, but likely to be up against it again here.
Yeats mare. Sister to bumper winner/useful hurdler Conflated, stays 2½m, and half-sister to a winner. One to keep in mind making debut for Philip Hobbs.
13
Horse silk
Coquelicott19
Age: 4|  Weight: 10-9| J: Rex Dingle(3)| T: A J Honeyball| D
9/4
Had shown promise prior to justifying odds-on favouritism at Taunton last month (2m½f, heavy). More on his plate here but trainer has an excellent record in bumpers.
14
Horse silk
8/1
Cokoriko filly. Dam, 2m4f-2m5f chase winner, half-sister to smart chaser (2m1f-2m4f winner) Mikador. Worth a check in the betting on debut.
15
Horse silk
Just Tottieh1
Age: 4|  Weight: 10-2| J: Adam Wedge| T: N Kent
150/1
Fair Mix filly. Sister to a point-to-point winner. Wears hood on first outing and others make more appeal on paper for this contest.
16
Horse silk
Ucanaver
Age: 4|  Weight: 10-2| J: Page Fuller(3)| T: A West
80/1
Maxios filly. Half-sister to bumper winner Golden Spread. Dam (h113) 2m-2m5f hurdle winner, also 2m winner on Flat. Yard 0-5 with bumper runners before now.

16:12 Huntingdon - 6 February 2020 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

Marada outran a big price in a Listed C&D bumper in December and sets the standard on that basis. She is set to be rather short in the betting however and this doesn't look straightforward. Debutantes Allavina, Indian Glory and Saucy Poem all command close inspection given their connections but experience may count and there was plenty to like about the way COQUELICOT did the job at Taunton last time as favourite. Anthony Honeyball's filly may have as good a chance as any here.
  1. Coquelicot
  2. Marada
  3. Allavina
