Made winning start for Nicky Henderson in Warwick juvenile hurdle (2m, good to soft; 30-100f) 12 months ago but failed to progress in two runs after. Pulled up at Kempton on Boxing Day over 2m5f (soft) and since left Seven Barrows.
Smart hurdler on his day winning the 2018 Martin Pipe at the Cheltenham Festival; lost way since and left Gordon Elliott. Best of three efforts for this trainer when second in Leopardstown Selling Hurdle last month (only three finished).
Has been out of form since winning at Wincanton (2m5½f, good) over hurdles in April, comes here having been pulled up two most recent starts over fences but is back on previous win-mark.
Unable to build on initial early promise in Ireland for Gordon Elliot and pulled up on debut for these connections at Wetherby (2m3½f, soft; 50-1) this month. Eased 5lb and first-time hood added now.
French import, ground it out at Sandown (2m, soft) in March in juvenile handicap and won since at Kelso (2m5f, good) in a similar manner in September after a break. Held in a much hotter race at Cheltenham but not written off.
A £90,000 gelded son of Shantou, he has won a pair of novices' hurdles at Sedgefield to launch his career over timber and is much-respected going into this stronger grade.
Maiden winner last May on good to firm at Wincanton and won a 2m3f handicap on soft at Taunton latest. 5lb higher now but just six starts over hurdles and retain scope for better things.
Found form as handicap mark shot up 27lb when recording a four-timer either side of a summer layoff last year, most recent win at Fakenham (2m4f, good; 7-4f) off 6lb lower rating in October. Handicapper may be in control for now.

Forecasts
Minella Trump (10/11), Annsam (9/4), Trapper Peak (6/1), Ahead of The Curve (7/1), Le Milos (9/1), Blow By Blow (25/1), Laskadine (25/1), Serosevsky (33/1), Authorizo (100/1)
MINELLA TRUMP and Annsam are probably the two to focus on here and the former is given the verdict. He's 2-2 from over timber so far at Sedgefield and the manner of his win there early last month strongly suggests that a mark of 123 is possibly going to prove lenient. Evan Williams' Annsam is also capable of better and respected in this line-up, while Serosevsky isn't dismissed back over timber from a winnable mark and Le Milos should find this less taxing than his Cheltenham assignment last time.
