Useful hurdler who shaped as if he would be better for the run when fifth of 14 to Ronald Pump in a C&D maiden on chase debut. Should be competitive with improvement expected.

The pick of these over hurdles, for all he failed to fire at all last season. Coming to chasing late enough, which is a concern, but merits maximum respect given his level of ability.

Useful hurdler for Jonjo O'Neill, but disappointing over fences for that yard, and unseated his rider after being hampered on his debut for current stable at Tramore in August. Bit to prove on return from a lengthy break.

Useful novice hurdler last season, and improved from debut over fences when 3L second of 15 to Royal Rendezvous in a maiden at Thurles last time. Will improve again, and just about the pick on chase form.

Has failed to complete on four of his seven starts since hurdles debut, and that must be a worry, but has shown useful form when getting round, and repeat of his third of 10 to Laurina in a maiden chase at Gowran would see him competitive.

Over six years since seen under rules, when he was a poor performer. Did manage a point-to-point win in 2016, but it would be a huge surprise if he could defy a near 4-year absence in this company.
