€33,000 foal, €190,000 3yo. Half-brother to bumper-placed runner, out of unraced sister to Gold Cup winner Kicking King and the dam of classy chaser Kalashnikov. Lovely pedigree and top trainer is 24% in bumpers over five seasons. Very interesting.
€15,000 3yo, £105,000 April 2019. Dam unraced sister to two winners at up to 2m4f, from family of Grand National winner Corbiere. Trainer 20% in bumpers over past five seasons and does have debut winners. Probably capable of a decent first run.

Out of an unraced half-sister to a multiple Greek 7f-1m winner. Plenty of stamina on that side of his pedigree. Trainer 0-9 in bumpers over five seasons, however, and others in this field look more obvious winners.

€70,000 3yo. Brother to a couple of useful winners, one in a bumper, and half-brother to a 2m5f-3m chase winner, out of unraced granddaughter to top class staying hurdler Rose Ravine. Trainer 13% in this sphere over five season. Market check.

€44,000 3yo. Half-brother to bumper winner Mr Antolini. Dam placed in a bumper and 2m-3m hurdles. Stable 19% in this discipline over past five seasons. Should be capable of making some impact on debut.

Easy to back 9-1 chance on debut at Ffos Las in October, when he tried to make all and showed promise when 3½L third of 10. Stable 24% in bumpers over five seasons and also in good form at present. Looks a huge player given that positive experience.
Half-brother to point and 2m hurdle winner Annie Bonny, out of an unraced half-sister to 2m-2m1f hurdle winner Casper King. Stable has had just 1-56 in this discipline in past five seasons, so probably one to watch on debut.

Belied his 100-1 SP on debut, when staying on for a 4L fourth here (soft) last month. Should be able to improve for that experience and not ruled out of the money again here.

Irish point runner-up on only start in that sphere. Sent off favourite on rules debut in a Warwick bumper (good), when he ran green and got caught close home. Should be able to build on that and no surprise to see him go close again.

€38,000 yearling. First foal of an unraced sister to 2m4f-2m5f hurdle and smart chase winner Great Endeavour. Stable 5% in this sphere over past five seasons, and probably likely to improve when jumping obstacles.

Forecasts

Truckers Pass (1/1), Bobhopeornohope (7/2), Mille Sussurri (5/1), Atholl Street (7/1), Hooligan (14/1), Tile Tapper (16/1), Honor Grey (20/1), Shybairnsgetnowt (33/1), Royal Martian (50/1), Cannie Lad (66/1)

16:05 Exeter - 1 January 2020 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

The presence of newcomers Atholl Street and Bobhopeornohope, who both represent trainer with excellent bumper strike-rates, adding a nice twist to this. Both are likely to be capable of showing up well, but we'll side with the experience of MILLE SUSSURRI, who made a good debut and is taken to build on that. Similar comments apply to Truckers Pass and Tile Tapper, who are both respected, while both Honor Grey and Hooligan are debutants from good stables, and need monitoring for any market confidence.
  1. Mille Sussurri
  2. Truckers Pass
  3. Atholl Street
