Charm Spirit colt bought for 65,000 gns as a yearling at the sales in October last year. Made an instant return on that when successful over 6f on Kempton debut earlier in the month and extra furlong today can only be a plus.
€50,000 2yo, pedigree an interesting mix of speed and stamina and he's shown plenty in two starts to date, almost scoring at Newcastle earlier in the month. Every chance of hitting the frame again, at worst, with extra furlong today a positive.
Bungleinthejungle gelding, bred to probably want further than this in time and yard don't get debut winners; not hard to look elsewhere.
£72,000 yearling, bred to go well on the all-weather surfaces and wasn't disgraced on Kempton debut, finishing midfield; will know more here, and cannot be totally ruled out despite others bringing stronger credentials.
By Kingman, and closely related to 7f winner Mulhimatty, out of a winning half-sister to top-class sprinter Muhaarar. Yard rarely rushes its youngsters, but this colt is worth a market check.
70,000gns yearling, dam closely related to some useful sorts, including Hong Kong winner Crown Prosecutor; showed plenty of speed on debut when second at Wolverhampton, and a good attitude when challenged; solid chance here.
Ninth on debut in May on the turf here, finished well beaten; gelded after and not seen out since then until now, all of which suggests he's had a few issues; best watched.
100,000gns yearling, closely related to the classy 7f winner Code Red; penny was dropping late on his debut here earlier in the month, staying on for fourth; every chance of improvement on that, and must be taken seriously.
Brazen Beau half-sister to smart 2-y-o 5f/6f winner Best Terms and 1¼m/1m3ff winner Sunsemperchi. Cost 20,000 gns as a yearling, and market should help separate her and stablemate Castleton Girl.
Sixties Icon filly that we won't see the best of until tackling longer trips next year; only modest debut at Kempton, and certainly not enough to make her of interest here.
Rock Of Gibraltar filly that's not been beaten far in a couple of modest maiden auction events, but that form is a fair way from what's required here and she needs improvement from somewhere. Others preferred.
New Approach filly that finished last of 11 at Kempton last time, which unsurprisingly wasn't an improvement on her debut; has had a short break but others make much more persuasive cases all the same.

The market will tell us plenty about the chances of the newcomers, but PRINCE CASPIAN showed good speed on debut and was only collared late on. A similar display should make him hard to beat. Brunei Charm has the penalty to carry, which is going to make life harder, but he did the job well on debut and should progress. Corvair ought not be far away on what he's achieved so far, and Top Secret looks a potential improver too.
