Quirky sort (often gets behind in his races) but has won in every sphere he's raced in, ending a long losing run with a Perth hurdles win in May off 2lb higher. Not in the same form since but steps down in grade and can't be easily ignored.

Failed to win since taking a Uttoxeter novice (2m) back in February 2017 when with Oliver Greenall. 0-8 since joining this yard he's had a breathing op but continues out of sorts; well beaten last time, hopes pinned on a return to an easier grade.

Like a few in this race he's an infrequent winner and now makes his first appearance for this yard having been with Gary Moore. Usually a front-runner he wasn't disgraced in his last start for Moore in a selling handicap; best watched for now.

Not had that many chances over hurdles and has shown her best form over C&D that run coming on her final run for her former yard. Now making her debut for a new yard off a break and entering handicaps for the first time; one to keep an eye on.

Returned to hurdles last time after a mixed bag of efforts over fences for this yard (pulled up last two), looking suited by the positive tactics last time (2m4f, heavy). Repeat of his last run (winner has won again) would give him a chance.

Trainer 5-20 with his hurdlers this season this one remains with little form for the yard having disappointed on his handicap debut. Handicapper immediately drops him 9lb as he goes back up in trip; one to interested in if strong in the market.

Modest maiden hurdler who looks as though she's starting to find her form for this yard getting back on track last time in her first handicap for the yard. Kept on in the closing stages last time (2m4f, heavy); has to reproduce/better that effort.

Produced a career-best effort to defeat subsequent dual winner Starplex over C&D last month off a 7lb lower mark under today's rider. Ran no sort of race last time off this mark; inconsistent sort who may do better returned to this venue.

Hard to build a solid case for this one who has been pulled up in two of his three starts for this yard and remains a 10-race maiden. One decent run for this stable came over C&D but hard to confident about his chance on the basis of that one start.

Let down by his jumping late on when producing a fair run on his debut at Cork (for former yard). Not really come close to matching that form again; tried in four handicaps for this yard (mark rapidly diminishing); cheekpieces now fitted first-time.

Yet to win his two runs off breaks as long as today's have ended in unplaced efforts. Second run back from wind surgery with the yard in better form now; on a decent mark if things did fall into place but that's a longshot.

Would have badly needed the run when returning over fences recently but hardly inspires as a sound proposition with a career record that reads 0-23. Not seen out over hurdles since January he would need to have improved to take a hand in this.

Has on occasions flashed some ability but he's basically a disappointing maiden who returns to this sphere after an uninspiring chasing debut. Often a front-runner his overall record makes him a hard sell even in lowly company such as this.

11:50 Sedgefield - 26 December 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

A race that any late comers will be glad to miss with sound form looking to be in short supply. Quds In should appreciate the drop in grade whilst Cheers JD can’t be ignored from a stable that have a good record with these types but neither are what you call solid citizens. Lough Kent has the ability to surprise and Golan Cloud with cheekpieces on for the first time deserves a check in the betting along with That’s My Dubai. In the end it may pay to take a chance with HONOURMISSION whose fourth last time out to a subsequent dual winner has to be respected and he’s just the type his shrewd yard do well with.
