Broke his maiden over hurdles when winning a maiden contest over an extended 2m2f at Exeter (soft) by 5L in March. Previously beaten a short-head in handicap company and holds strong claims off a 5lb higher mark on seasonal reappearance.
Dual winner over C&D in December 2017 but has had just two starts since most recently when pulling up at Sandown (2m, heavy) in a Listed handicap hurdle on her return from nearly two years off the track.
Successful over an extended 2m2f at Exeter (good-to-soft) in April. Below that form in two subsequent starts however and looks up against it on seasonal debut.
Placed on the AW at Kempton (1m4f) in October but has finished held in two subsequent starts including when 24L eighth over an extended 1m7f on his return to hurdles at Wincanton (good-to-soft) earlier this month.
Performed well when 8L second over an extended 2m at Cheltenham (good-to-soft) on seasonal debut in October. Slightly disappointing at Haydock (2m3f, good-to-soft) the following month and shorter trip here is in his favour.
Nine race maiden has placed on each of his last three starts including when 7L second over 2m1f at Sedgfield (soft) just under three weeks ago. Raised 1lb for that effort and is one for the shortlist on this occasion.
Decent effort in finishing 15L fifth in a 2m3f handicap hurdle on soft ground here in October when making his seasonal debut and first start since wind surgery. Market support would be notable in this contest.
Finished runner-up on his last two starts including when beaten a head in a heavy ground handicap hurdle over an extended 1m7f at Leicester earlier this month. Interesting despite a 2lb rise in the weights.
Winner on this card 12 months ago and ran well when 14L third on soft ground over C&D on his penultimate start. Struggled when 30L sixth at Lingfield (2m, heavy) subsequently however and races off a mark 7lb higher than when winning here in March.

The consistent JACKSON HILL can gain reward for a string of placed efforts by registering a first career success in this competitive looking handicap hurdle. Top weight Dostal Phil remains open to improvement on his return to action and he can claim second place ahead of the veteran The Game Is A Foot who receives weight from all bar one of his rivals in this contest.
