16/1
Popular course winning veteran, still running well in defeat in a number of starts since May. Losing run stretches back to 2017 but the gelding could be suited by a drop in trip in this contest.

Last seen finishing well down the field in the Royal Hunt Cup as Ascot in June. Winner of four of his six starts at the track, though both defeats have come over C&D.

Failed to land a four-timer at the track earlier this month over 1m. Winner of three of his 15 starts over C&D but handicapper appears to hold the upper hand right now.

Posted the best effort for sometime earlier this month over 6f at this venue finishing a close up seventh of nine in a bunch finish. Still needs to take a big step forward to get competitive.

Winner of two of his nine starts here including a win over C&D. Has finished behind Geological on his two most recent starts over the combination but hold strong claims in first-time cheekpieces.

Ex-French trained filly. Well held and never a factor in three dismal efforts this term. Best watched on stable debut unless market vibes suggest otherwise.

Beaten at this venue in a couple of starts in November over 1m and 6f following a win over C&D in October off a 9lb lower mark. Strong claims from draw if given positive ride from the front.

Winner of a couple of contests here over 1m in October/November and winner of both starts over C&D. Worthy of consideration now 1lb lower than last winning mark.

Won for the second time in his career when landing a Leopardstown 1m handicap on good to firm ground in July on his final start for trainer Kevin Prendergast. Met trouble in running earlier this month and is better than that run suggests.

Never nearer in a couple of starts over 1m at this venue since early last month but the daughter of Kodiac shows much more encouragement over C&D. Entitled to make the shortlist.

Once 107-rated handicapper for trainer Kevin Ryan. Biggest win came in 2017 when landing the Listed Garrowby Stakes at York over 6f. Market possibly best guide on stable debut.

18:45 Dundalk - 20 December 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

The time may be right to side with the Mick Halford-trained KATIYMANN as the Shamardal gelding is once again hovering round his last winning mark. The seven-year-old can bounce back to form here in first-time cheekpieces and can hold off the attentions of C&D winners Dancing On A Dream in the colours of owner Peter Savil and She's A Babe, winner over the combination in October. The former Kevin Ryan-trained Tommy Taylor looks an interesting Dundalk recruit, while Yuften, Gordon Lord Byron and the enigmatic Geological can once again give a good account without posing serious threat to principals.
