Yard 10-84 with bumper newcomers (last five years); half-sister to a point-to-point winner Dan's Wee Man; dam also a winner in that sphere. Pedigree would suggest she needs a test of stamina; yard yet to have a bumper winner this season 0-13.

Yard's runners always worth a glance in this sphere although this one failed to live up to market expectations on debut at Market Rasen. Left well behind in the closing stages; may show a little more here with that experience tucked away.

Stable have a good record with their bumper newcomers (14-51, 27%) so this €42,000 purchase as a 3yo has to be respected. Sister to useful hurdler/smart chaser Chris's Dream and half-sister to two winners; one to note in the market.
First run for the yard having cost £62,000 after winning an Irish point-to-point last month. Half-sister to useful chaser Anothercoppercoast, yard have a near 23% strike-rate with bumper newcomers, should go well given her connections.

From a stable not usually associated with bumper runners she shaped as if in need of the experience on her Exeter debut (not persevered with once held). Would need to have made rapid progress to play a part in this.

Struggled from a long way out on her bumper debut at Ffos Las in testing conditions only beating one home. Not much better expected here despite having some experience and one of the lesser lights in this.
Showed virtually nothing on her debut at Wincanton last month finishing last of 18 when a 100-1 chance. Looked quirky at the start and laboured through the race; of very limited appeal.

Took a point-to-point bumper by 2L on her only run in that discipline before joining this yard and being well fancied for a Catterick bumper on debut. Shaped much better than the bare result (may have gone for home too soon); tongue-tie now on.
Dam a winning point-to-pointer and represents the same connections who run A Book Of Intrigue (also a bumper winner for them) earlier on the card. 0-9 with bumper newcomer in the last five seasons and this looks quite a warm heat.
Newcomer out of a dam who herself was a bumper/hurdles winner and a sister to the yard's winning hurdler over 2m Flashing Glance. 16-67 (24%) with debutants in the last five years the yard know how to ready one for a successful debut.

Showed some signs of ability on her debut at Ffos Las in typically testing conditions for the track; caught wide she plugged on for a modest fifth. Could show some improvement but hard to see her troubling the principals.

Found a 2m bumper on good ground in the summer at Uttoxeter an inadequate test especially as she was ridden from off the pace. Ridden in a more positive manner in an AW bumper (Lingfield) last time, finished fourth, this is a stronger heat.

Yard 1-2 in bumpers this year and have been in good form in general of late (2-15 with bumper newcomers). Half-sister to three winners, including bumper winner/fairly useful hurdler Alverstone; worth noting if there are positive market vibes.

Winner of a soft ground point-to-point bumper she showed ability on her first run in a bumper but failed to repeat that performance in a lesser contest when last seen. Looked far from straightforward on that occasion, first start for a new yard, best

Forecasts

Hollymount Holly (11/10), Outlaw Jesse James (9/2), Misstree Song (5/1), Shirocco Sunflower (10/1), Sound Of Music (11/1), Graces Order (12/1), Saddlers Quest (14/1), Cateline (20/1), Strike Hollow (20/1), Ashley Hollow (20/1), Liimari (50/1), Millie's Flying (50/1), Living My Dream (50/1), Ms Intrigue (50/1)

15:40 Hereford - 19 December 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

Some fair sorts in this with a few useful looking newcomers mixed in with one who has already produced a decent performance under Rules. That one would be MISSTREE SONG who proved that she had a decent engine when shaping far better than her final placing at Catterick last time having looked in control near the finish. That experience could well stand her in good stead and give her the edge over a strong group of newcomers headed by Hollymount Holly and Outlaw Jesse James. Both of those come from stables that do well in this sphere and have the credentials to make an impression. Sound Of Music and Graces Order are two other debutants to note in a race where the market could be informative.
  1. Misstree Song
  2. Outlaw Jesse James
  3. Hollymount Holly
