One win to his name from 12 starts at the track but has proceeded to hit the frame on a further five occasions. Beaten 4L over 2m following a solid run over C&D early last month when fourth of 14 beaten 1¾L. One for the shortlist.

76-rated handicapper for Sir Mark Prescott posting a number of solid and consistent starts in the spring. Disappointed over 2m for current connections last month but likely to produce better dropping in trip.

Without a win in 12 starts at this venue but has proceeded to hit the frame on four occasions from nine runs over C&D. Pulled up when jockey reported the gelding lost his action over C&D last month. Not to be taken lightly on return.

Winner of three of his 18 Flat starts on turf the Sea The Stars gelding needs to raise overall profile following a couple of below-par efforts on this surface last month.

Won for the fourth time at this course when landing a 1m2½f claimer beating Alabaster ½L last month. More on his plate here but in the winning habit and a leading player.

Course winner here in 2017 the Manduro gelding ran with plenty of credit to finish second of 14 beaten ½L in a 7f claimer earlier this month on his final start for trainer Sheila Lavery. Big step up in trip for stable debut.

In untouchable form at present. The Sir Percy gelding has won his last four starts here including a victory over C&D earlier this month off an 8lb lower mark. Set to go well again but 23lb higher than first win is a concern.

Off the mark at the seventh time of asking at the Curragh in August. Riunning well in defeat in three starts since including at this venue last month over 1m2½f. Yet to hit the frame in four starts here.

Off the mark for connections at the 12th time of asking when landing a 14-runner handicap over C&D before repeating the trick over 1m2½f last month off a 10lb lower mark. Not beaten far since and a leading player once again.

Lightly raced maiden of six starts. The Footstepsinthesand gelding has run with plenty of credit in a couple of starts over C&D since last month. More likely than some to run his race.

Nine-race Flat maiden on turf before making an encouraging debut on this surface when finishing 3¾L seventh of 14 behind Tracing over C&D when last seen in October. Market likely to be the best guide on return to action.

17:30 Dundalk - 18 December 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

The Sheila Lavery-trained ULTRA PRIDE can win at the fifth time of asking round this track. The gelding can make the most of his running style, dictating the pace under jockey Robbie Colgan. The solid and consistent Spelga can emerge as the biggest danger with the son of Sir Percy arriving here on a four-timer. C&D winners, Pak Army who steps up in trip and Lady De Vesci should not be underestimated while Miss Louise could go well at a price. **The Joseph O'Brien-trained Ozone is currently third reserve but would enter calculations if getting a run following a facile win on Friday.
