9/4
Went one better than his chasing debut when winning at Wetherby last time (1m7f, heavy), achieving his win in a professional manner. Raised in grade this time he beat a sound yardstick last time, jumped well; should make his mark at this level.

Took a Grade 2 novice hurdle last season before disappointing in the Ballymore (pulled up) on his final timber start. Has the make and shape of a chaser but has yet to reach the same level as he did over hurdles; work to do at this level.

5/1
Winner of his only point-to-point by 6L (cost £250,000 straight after); took both his initial hurdling outings (short-priced favourite each time). Failed to improve when upped to Grade 1 level in that sphere; has to be respected on chasing debut.

33/1
Winner at up to 2m4f over hurdles; chasing career having got underway in reasonable fashion with a pair of runner-up efforts. Didn't really have the form to trouble the principals when tried at Grade 2 level last time (pulled up; reportedly bled).

15/8
Smart hurdler (winner at Grade 2 level); rarely ran a bad race over timber (did disappoint in the Supreme). Opening second over fences came in a good Warwick 2m contest (gave weight to the winner); looks sure to improve, first time at 2m4f.

25/1
Bumper winner who produced a couple of useful winning hurdles performances around the turn of the year at up to 2m6f. Disappointed towards the end of the season (pulled up twice); has the scope for fences, yard just finding their feet again.

Forecasts

Mister Fisher (15/8), Good Boy Bobby (9/4), Beakstown (4/1), Champagne Platinum (5/1), Topofthecotswolds (10/1), Nestor Park (25/1), Garo De Juilley (33/1)

12:45 Cheltenham - 14 December 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

Potentially an interesting and informative novice chase with Nicky Henderson a three-time winner in this event saddling two with very solid chances. MISTER FISHER get the vote of the two that the trainer saddles having shaped well on his chasing debut splitting a couple of useful rivals. His stablemate Champagne Platinum has winning point-to-point form to his name but this will be a tougher test. Good Boy Bobby looks the main danger therefore having shown a good attitude coupled with a sound jumping technique already. Beakstown and Topofthecotswolds have a little to prove having both disappointed on their most recent outings.
  1. Mister Fisher
  2. Good Boy Bobby
  3. Champagne Platinum
