Much better effort in bumpers for Paul Flynn, and showed a good attitude, when winning at Perth last time by ¾L from Arakan Quest. Starts out for new yard now, and needs to progress again to defy a penalty.
By Schiaparelli out of a 2½m/2¾m hurdle winner. Yard gets occasional bumper winner here, but yet to really find form this season, and newcomers invariably need experience.
Beaten favourite on bumper debut at Market Rasen, and improved when 4L second of 14 to Chuvelo at Carlisle on his reappearance, staying on stoutly. Sets the standard on that, and this stiff track will suit him well.

Sales price dropped to £17,000 in the summer after he'd made the frame in a couple of ordinary maiden point-to-points. Bred to do better with time and distance, and best watched on bumper debut unless attracting support.
Dylan Thomas gelding who is closely related to bumper winner/useful hurdler Westend Story and fairly useful chaser Wild Bill. Type to do well in time if breeding is a guide, but yard never in a hurry with bumper runners.

Full- brother to fairly useful hurdler Hear No Evil and half-brother to bumper winner/fair hurdler Shush. Cost €78,000 last year, and appeals more than most on paper, so needs a market check.

Cheap purchase who belied his 50/1 SP when plugging on for second in a C&D bumper won by Crypto in March. Needs to improve to land what looks a deeper contest, but merits a second look given debut promise.

By Tikkanen out of an unraced half-sister to useful but moody staying hurdler Kennel Hill. Bought for just £800 as a 3-y-o, and hard to get excited now making belated debut.

By Getaway out of a sister to bumper winner/useful hurdler Merrydown. Yard has a 28% strike-rate in bumpers, so while a tongue-tie on debut is a potential negative, he is not easily dismissed.

Full-brother to Flat stayer Another Lincolnday and half-brother to fairly useful dual-purpose performer My Arch. Flat-orientated yard 1-5 in bumpers in recent seasons, and market should reveal what's expected of this gelding.

Runner-up on his sole start at Hexham (2m) in April 2018 for Gillian Boanas, showing plenty of promise for the future. Well-bred sort is worth serious consideration on debut for new yard, despite lengthy lay-off.
Shirocco half-brother to high-class chaser Rathvinden and fairly useful hurdler Chapel Stile. Yard a little quiet at present, but he makes plenty of appeal on pedigree, and folly to ignore on racecourse bow.

From family of Grand National winner Royal Athlete, and much improved on second start in this sphere when 3½L third of 8 to Le Cheval Noir at Kelso last month, making the running. Not taken lightly.
By Martaline out of a once-raced mare. Looks yard's second string on riding arrangements, and fitting of a tongue-tie for debut also raises concerns.

CALL ME FREDDIE improved to be second at Carlisle, and he looks a stayer, so will be suited by the stiff finish here, and gets the nod over Penny Blak, who shaped with lots of promise on his debut, albeit more than 18 months ago. Get With It and Petite Rhapsody appeal most of the newcomers, both possessing likeable pedigrees for the winter game.
