Not won since earlier in the year over 6f on the AW having had plenty of chances on the turf/AW. Ran no sort of race when back in headgear on the turf last time (blew the start); third on his only previous start on Fibresand, something to prove.

Took well enough to Fibresand on his initial experience over 1m4f here last time (stamina would have been stretched). Last win came over 1m1f at Musselburgh off a 1lb lower mark; hinted at a revival last time, would need to be back to his best.

Twice a C&D winner she shaped quite well last time having her first start for five months over a trip (1m) that would have stretched her. Should do better now with that run behind her and back at 7f; remains 10lb above her last winning mark though.

Took a while to get off the mark finally doing so when dropped to 5f here; mainly kept to sprint trip (unsuccessfully since). Got very little assistance from the saddle last time over 6f here; enters calculations back up in trip to 7f (0-3 at trip).

Sliding down the handicap without really looking likely to take advantage of the reduced mark. First-time visor from last time is now removed as he gets his first taste of Fibresand; on a long losing sequence, hard to get excited about.

Three-time course winner the latest of those victories coming at 1m (final run for Roger Fell). Yet to win for this yard but appears to be sharpening up for another win on Fibresand judged on his second over 1m here last time; shortlisted.

Winner of 13 of his 87 course starts with eight of those victories coming at this trip. Much like his better known stablemate (General Tufto) his form can be rather hit-and-miss although its always dangerous to write him off around here.

Three-time C&D winner whose proved very consistent since scoring back-to-back C&D wins returning from a break in August/September. Ran well over C&D last time to one in very good form; fair chance again from the same mark this time.

Only a modest sort in handicaps with the losing sequence starting to grow despite the handicapper showing him some mercy. Ran poorly last time out in first-time cheekpieces and now reverts to more familiar eyeshields; work to do to get involved.

Capitalised on a solid spell when returning to winning ways over C&D last time to gain his second win on Fibresand. Nudged up 3lb for that win he should be in the mix once more at this track; will be hard to keep out of the frame off a strong pace.

Lightly-raced Irish raider who failed to make much of an impression over 7f on her handicap debut last time in testing conditions at the Curragh. Makes Fibresand debut here; must be watched in the market given connections despite her form figures.

Remains a maiden after 19 starts although he did show a glimmer of ability behind Clipsham Tiger (runs earlier on the card) last time out over 1m here. Often slowly away the fact that he's 5lb out of the weights make his task an even harder one.

20:00 Southwell - 5 December 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

A fair few of these have shown some of their best form here and chief amongst those would be BEE MACHINE who stayed on well over C&D last time and looks in good shape to repeat that win off just a 3lb higher mark. Global Melody and Geography Teacher have both shown winning form around here and must be respected whilst the ever consistent Break The Silence can never be discounted on a surface that suits him so well. Both Regulator and Espoir Et Bonheur are yet to experience this surface but the suspicion remains that both are capable than they have shown so far with any market support being something to note.
  1. Bee Machine
  2. Geography Teacher
  3. Break The Silence
