US bred colt; cost $90,000 as a yearling; third foal; half-brother to the 1m2f AW winner Battle Of Paradise; ticks plenty of the required boxes, so it's probably worth noting any positive market move.
Frankel colt (75,000gns yearling); is gradually learning his trade; 25-1 and ran on for pressure when fourth to Chinese Whisperer at Wolverhampton (1m+) six weeks ago.
Sir Percy colt (45,000gns yearling); 33-1 when last of 14 on debut at Kempton (1m); very raw and inexperienced on that occasion, so ideally will need to have come on leaps and bounds in a short period of time.
Oasis Dream colt (75,000gns yearling); was spotted doing strong late work when finishing 3½L fourth to Rovaniemi in a 7f novice here in early October; stablemate of the unraced Moomba.
6,000gns foal; ninth foal; half-sister to the 2m4f hurdle winner Cruachan; stablemate of Beggarman; doesn't make a great deal of appeal on paper for this type of event; look elsewhere.

An interesting race which features a number of noteworthy newcomers (namely but not exhaustive to Pleasure Garden and Line Of Enquiry). However, with a reasonable standard of form already in the book we'll elect to focus upon experience for the solution. Transition is the pick of the Amanda Perrett duo, and this extra furlong should stand her Oasis Dream colt in excellent stead, while it'll come as no real surprise if Glorious Caesar is more competitive than was the case at Salisbury. Nevertheless with the third-placed Celestran franking his most recent form (Newmarket), the Roger Varian runner NAIZAGAI gets the vote.
