Age: 5|  Weight: 12-1| J: Joe Colliver| T: Jedd O'Keeffe| OR:  116
2/1
Runner-up on the Flat here (1m6f) in September; headed at the final flight when a weakening third (beaten 5¾L) to Native Fighter at Carlisle (2m1f, good to soft) last month; slips back into a Class 4 contest off top-weight; chance.

Never Be Enoughh37
Age: 4|  Weight: 11-12| J: Craig Nichol| T: K Dalgleish| OR:  113| BF| D
20/1
Dual purpose performer; well-backed when making a winning hurdles debut at Perth (2m, heavy) in August, and had the misfortune to meet Road To Dubai next time; below-par on ground described as 'tacky soft' at Stratford latest.

Needs To Be Seenp67
Age: 4|  Weight: 11-7| J: Callum Bewley| T: J S Goldie| OR:  108| CD
16/1
6L C&D winner (juvenile hurdle) for John Ryan last November (good to firm); has struggled on the Flat since switched to Jim Goldie; high enough in the handicap for what he has actually achieved?

Age: 8|  Weight: 11-7| J: Jamie Hamilton| T: Ruth Jefferson| OR:  108

Sole win came over fences at Kelso (2m1f, good) last November; it's difficult to take any real positives from his two runs over hurdles this season (2m-2m5f), albeit has eased a combined total of 10lb in the weights.

Age: 5|  Weight: 11-4| J: James Corbett(5)| T: S Corbett| OR:  105| D
20/1
Made all to win a 2m claiming hurdle for Olly Murphy at Ludlow (2m, good to soft) last December; didn't sparkle for Katy Price thereafter and 0-2 this season for the Otterburn trainer Susan Corbett; handicap mark becoming more manageable.

Tim Roccoh,t22
Age: 7|  Weight: 11-3| J: Henry Brooke| T: O Greenall & J Guerriero| OR:  104| D
10/1
Overcame an early mistake to notch a second straight hurdles win in March (Newcastle 2m, soft); found life tougher from an elevated mark subsequently, but is slowly easing in the weights; disappointing (too keen) at Carlisle latest.

Touchedbyanangelt19
Age: 7|  Weight: 11-3| J: S Mulqueen(3)| T: Miss Lucinda V Russell| OR:  104| D
20/1
Won three times on a sound surface in Ireland for Andy Oliver (2m-2m3f); a real mixed bag overall for Lucinda Russell - runner-up at Perth (2m, soft) in September, and pulled up over C&D (keen) earlier this month.

Astute Boyp,t19
Age: 5|  Weight: 10-13| J: Ryan Mania| T: R M Smith| OR:  100
9/1
More exposed than some of his rivals and is still chasing that elusive first success over hurdles (0-11); 33-1 when beaten 7L by Ashington in a novices' hurdle over C&D (soft) earlier this month; couldn't be totally discounted on that basis.
9
Horse silk
Wot A Shot19
Age: 10|  Weight: 10-10| J: R D Day| T: N G Richards| OR:  97| CD
7/1
Particularly effective at this track and was kept busy here last winter as a result; same mark as when finishing third (beaten in excess of 10L) to the last gasp winner Goldencard over C&D (good to soft) earlier this month.

Justice Knightp,t13
Age: 7|  Weight: 10-8| J: Nick Scholfield| T: M Scudamore| OR:  95| D
12/1
Broke the maiden tag with a clearcut 4½L win at Huntingdon (2m, good to soft) in February; weakened quickly after racing keenly on seasonal reappearance at Hereford a fortnight ago; 5lb above his winning mark.

Court Jurado180
Age: 5|  Weight: 10-8| J: B S Hughes| T: D McCain Jnr| OR:  95
9/2
Bought for £25,000 out of the Irish point-to-point scene (a winner at Taylorstown); 0-4 over hurdles (2m-2m4f) and in truth relatively low-key; remains possible that'll he'll have a future in low-grade handicaps; market a guide.

Horse silk
Fourth Of Julyt119
Age: 4|  Weight: 10-1| J: A Nicol| T: R M Smith| OR:  88
33/1
Unconvincing over hurdles, easing 14lb in the weights since allocated a handicap mark; lowly weighted wearing a first-time tongue-tie, but very difficult to fancy in the grand scheme of things; safer to look elsewhere.
13
Horse silk
Optima Petamusb25
Age: 7|  Weight: 10-0| J: J Kington| T: L Bailey| OR:  82
50/1
Sole win came on the Flat for Luca Cumani in 2015 (1m maiden); 0-5 over hurdles and virtually impossible to fancy on all known form (from out of the handicap proper or not).

15:00 Musselburgh - 25 November 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

A race in which a definitive view won't be forthcoming, but the suspicion is that it'll pay to concentrate on those towards the top end of the handicap. Never Be Enough can be forgiven a poor run on 'tacky soft ground' at Stratford latest and should have more to offer in handicaps for the much respected Keith Dalgleish/Straightline Bloodstock team. However, we'll side with the eased-in-grade top-weight REMEMBER THE DAYS for Jedd O'Keeffe and Joe Colliver. This five-year-old was in contention until weakening from the final flight on his return to hurdles at Carlisle (2m1f) last month. At a projected tastier price, Court Jurado rates as a fair each-way option.
