1
Horse silk
20/1
Modest 63-rated handicapper on the Flat winning one of his 10 starts. Sole success came on heavy ground at Limerick. Possibly best watched on hurdling debut unless market vibes suggest otherwise.

Age: 3|  Weight: 11-0| J: Donagh Meyler| T: K Purcell
100/1
Six-race maiden on the Flat, showing little in the way of ability and that continued on his hurdle debut at Ballinrobe in September when never a factor. First time cheekpieces unlikely to bring about the required amount of improvement needed.

50/1
Winner of one of seven starts on the Flat which came in a Ballinrobe 1m1f handicap on yielding to soft ground in June. Yards hurdlers usually come on for first experience over timber.

Age: 3|  Weight: 11-0| J: Paul Townend| T: W P Mullins
8/1
Pour Moi gelding, half-brother to 1m-1m2½f winner Adieux. Well held when never nearer in first two sorties over hurdles recently but impossible to dismiss as trainer/jockey combination usually get it right.
5
Horse silk
66/1
Son of Milan was tailed off when last of 16 at Roscommon in his only previous start. Needs to step up from that experience to play a part here.
6
Horse silk
66/1
By So You Think out of an In The Wings mare. Below-par 55-rated handicapper on the Flat, sole win in 11 starts coming on good ground at Naas over 1m2f in July. Best watched on hurdling debut.

16/1
Fair form on the Flat for Dennis Horgan though only one claiming race win for his efforts. Can be forgiven first run at here last month when badly hampered at the first flight. Leading contender.

Ozone6
Age: 3|  Weight: 11-0| J: J J Slevin| T: J P O'Brien
8/1
52-rated 10-race maiden on the Flat. No impression on main protagonists on hurdling debut at Punchestown over 2m on heavy ground earlier this month. Can be expected to improve.
9
Horse silk
Scalino6
Age: 3|  Weight: 11-0| J: D E Mullins| T: A Mullins
66/1
Son of German sire Kamsin a half-brother to three Flat winners at around 1m. Ran free on hurdling debut at Punchestown earlier this month before falling four out. Sent off at odds of 25/1 on that day which possibly reflects his chances here.

Scotts Honor39
Age: 3|  Weight: 11-0| J: N P Madden| T: S M Duffy
66/1
Generally disappointing for John Oxx until landing a claimer at Ballinrobe in June. Unable to land a blow on hurdles bow at Listowel before a couple of heavy reversals at Ballinrobe and Punchestown last month. Others looks more convincing.
11
Horse silk
25/1
Not much to shout about in three dismal starts over hurdles since his debut last month. In the right hands to produce enough improvement to be dangerous in this contest.
13
Horse silk
5/1
Posted a career best over timber last month finishing second of 18 beaten ½L in a Galway maiden hurdle on soft ground. Could well still have more to give.
14
Horse silk
Dinard Roseb28
Age: 3|  Weight: 10-7| J: E Walsh(7)| T: N Meade| BF
8/13
Winner of the Ulster Cesarewitch handicap over 2m2f at Down Royal in August. Not far behind Very Excellent on hurdling debut at Galway last month over a similar trip on soft ground. Improvement expected.
15
Horse silk
66/1
Daughter of Dragon Pulse out of a Salluceva mare. Closely related to two-time hurdle winner Little Haarth. Three-race maiden on the Flat could be an interesting hurdling recruit.
16
Horse silk
Faerie Laws39
Age: 3|  Weight: 10-7| J: B Browne(5)| T: P G Fahey
66/1
Lawman filly out of a Bachelor Duke mare. 60-rated handicapper on the Flat. Struggling in a number of recent starts since winning at Roscommon in July. Best watched on hurdling debut.
First Reserve: Filly by Gale Force Ten out of a Crococo Rouge mare. Weakened after three out on hurdling debut at Fairyhouse earlier this month. Could be of interest if making the line-up.

A 2m½f contest at Galway last month could be the key to the opening contest with the Noel Meade-trained DINARD ROSE can reverse placings with Andrew McNamara's Very Excellent. The daughter of Champs Elysees was travelling well before being badly hampered by a loose hose two out eventually dropping to finish fourth of the 18 runners. Tremwedge can improve on his promising debut run at Punchestown earlier this month while Kid Curry for trainer Willie Mullins and the Joseph O'Brien-trained Ozone are better than their last starts suggest.
  1. Dinard Rose
  2. Very Excellent
  3. Kid Curry
