Has hit the frame in four of his six visits here including on one occasion over C&D. Sending out mixed messages in a number of starts on turf over the summer but has run well in defeat in a couple of recent starts here. Worth a market check.

Fairly consistent sort for Mick Channon on the Flat showing good ability up to 1m2f on different surfaces. Well beaten in a couple of starts over hurdles for new connections and market likely to reveal expectations on debut at this track.

Sole success on the Flat came in a maiden at this venue over 7f back in 2016. Last on both starts since return to action in September. First time cheekpieces unlikely to bring about the required amount of improvement needed to play a role here.

Off the mark for connections at the 12th time of asking when landing a 14-runner handicap over 1m4f before repeating the trick over C&D earlier this month off a 9lb lower mark. Life more difficult but big hat-trick bid on the cards.

18:15 Dundalk - 22 November 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

Chaparral Dream and Universal Focus are still racing 11lb and 15lb higher than their last winning marks so it may pay to side with the Jessica Harrington-trained PEPPERONI PETE who can add to his sole win in 12 starts following a promising run over C&D when finishing third of 13 not beaten far in a bunch finish. The three-year-old's running style could give him first run on the field with C&D winners Pak Army, going for a hat-trick of wins here and Lachet, a winner late last month. The first-time cheekpieces for Queen Amidala could spark an improvement.
