Showed little on his return from nine months off when pulled up at Fontwell recently (stable are a little quiet). Has coped well with higher grades and stamina tests in the past; needs to step forward but not one to write off too quickly.
Won this last year off a 3lb lower mark after tuning up at Fontwell; looks to be following the same path this time. Got ready for his repeat at Exeter this time over a trip (2m3f) that is much too short; still unexposed in staying events like this.
Capable on his day but tends to sulk if he doesn't lead (or has competition up front); took advantage of a much-reduced mark to score at Chepstow when making a winning return. Reverted to type last time and up 6lb; cheekpieces return to help him.
Moody sort and one to treat with caution; often runs her races in snatches producing just that type of performance at Uttoxeter last time on her return from a break. Up to the longest trip she's tried; no guarantee that will improve her attitude.
Course win here came over hurdles (3m1f); very limited chase experience ran a creditable third when last seen over fences at Newton Abbot (3m2f). In headgear then he paid for trying to mix it with the winner late on; stable quiet, best watched.
Comes into this with a record of 1-28 (0-17, fences); therefore not hard to have reservations about supporting him. Not an easy ride, his rider managed to keep him focused over 3m2f here last time (took second); not sure to be in the same mindset.
Maiden in point-to-points he's shown little under Rules gaining a 0-14 record overall (0-9, fences). Last seen under Rules when a well beaten ninth in this last year (beaten 13L); way out of the handicap, hard to make a case for.

This could be a case of last horse standing in the conditions with this 3m4f trip sure to take some getting and it may be best to leave this to CHEQUE EN BLANC once more as he’s just 3lb higher than last year and looks to have been prepared for a repeat crack at this. If the stables of Dylanseoghan and Mogestic were in better form they would have had more chance especially the former who has gone well at extreme trips in better company than this. How things go early on is likely to dictate how much effort Big Meadow puts in although the reapplication of cheekpieces may help him; an easy lead would give him a better chance. All of the others look hard rides and are unappealing propositions.
