Set some stiff tasks as a novice but acquitted himself well winning three-times including at Listed level. Plenty of weight for handicap bow but has a touch of class and respected on return to action.
Had some smart form in the 2017/18 season in 3m handicap hurdles including a win here at the festival. Only raced once last season so obviously had issues and this likely a pipe-opener over inadequate trip.
Bright start to 2019 but lost her way now with two below par efforts sandwiching a fall at the first at Killarney. Given a breather since last run but others preferred here.
Winner over fences and hurdles dropped to a dangerous mark now and after running with some credit on the Flat last time out he isn't one to take lightly here by any means.
Lightly raced maiden over hurdles but shown more than enough ability to think he will soon be winning races and looks a big danger off this mark after two decent runs on the Flat coming into this.
Bumper winner placed in three of his six hurdle races and his second in a Galway maiden last time out was a particularly promising run. Looks to have been leniently treated by the handicapper so rates a danger to all here.
Roscommon maiden winner finished midfield here subsequently in a handicap so has plenty to prove now although he has potential at this early stage.
Forecasts
Drop The Anchor (2/1), Future Proof (2/1), Light That (6/1), Scheu Time (8/1), Gallant John Joe (11/1), Tomeric (14/1), A Great View (16/1), Ejayteekay (25/1), Oscars Den (25/1)
Lightly raced five-year-old DROP THE ANCHOR ran probably his best race over hurdles last time out and he looks to have been given a real chance now by the handicapper. Not far behind him at Galway was Future Proof and he too enters the equation now handicapping. Classy Gallant John Joe is also respected on his return to action.
