25/1
Left Gavin Cromwell, for whom he won 1-9 over hurdles, since his last outing in September. Best efforts have been on good ground and probably one to watch on his chase debut.

Chosen Hour231
Age: 7|  Weight: 11-12| J: S F O'Keeffe(5)| T: S Aherne| BF| D
16/1
Triple winner over hurdles, unusually starting off by scoring at 3m, and going down in trip for his most recent success over 2m. Has also won over 2m5f on soft. Wouldn't have the ability of some of these in that sphere, but respected on chase debut.
3
Horse silk
13/2
Has two hurdle wins to his name at 2m3f-2m4f, including on heavy. Well held on both chase starts so far, so need to see some improvement if he is to get anywhere near winning this.
4
Horse silk
100/1
Pulled up in four of his last six starts (including on chase debut) and well beaten in the other two. Readily opposed.

Oskar High33
Age: 7|  Weight: 11-12| J: D Meyler| T: N Lee
33/1
Dual winner from 26 starts over hurdles, at 2m4f/3m1f, both on good. Has run well on soft, but arrives for his chase debut in no better than reasonable form, and it would be a surprise if he proves good enough today.

Randalls Ur Poet20
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-12| J: M J Bolger| T: S Fahey
12/1
Placed 12 times from 20 starts, but yet to break his maiden. Handles testing ground, trip also suits, and if he can transfer his hurdles ability to chasing now, then he could make an impact in this field.
7

Roman Rockp21
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-12| J: M Hamill(3)| T: M F Morris
25/1
Showed promise on his first two starts as a hurdler, but it has been a tale of woe since then, including on his chase debut at Wexford last month, when unseating. Can only watch until we see more.
Point runner-up who is 0-6 under rules and is impossible to fancy on his chase debut.

Horse silk
Stones And Roses21
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-12| J: B Hayes| T: W P Mullins
11/4
8-1 and ran well on his chase debut at Wexford last month, when 5L second (2m4f, heavy). That is one of the better pieces of chase form on offer here, and he is entitled to claims if able to show some improvement.

Horse silk
5/1
Scored over hurdles at Limerick (3m, yielding) this time last year, from a mark of 102 and went close later at Punchestown, when 7lb higher. Disappointed on his reappearance at Gowran Park last month, but may have place claims if taking to chasing.

Horse silk
Three Is Companyb20
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-12| J: K M Donoghue| T: G Elliott| OR:  115
15/2
Placed in four of his six hurdles at around 2m5f-2m6½f. Improved on all of that on his chase debut at Ayr last month (2m4½f, soft), when 4¼L third. That was probably the best piece of chase form of any in this field, and he looks a big player.
12
Horse silk
3/1
Was beginning to get to grips with hurdling in the spring, culminating in a win in a Clonmel maiden (2m4f, good) when he was last seen in May. Has it to prove on soft, but related to chase success and a likely improver now switching to this sphere.
13
Horse silk
Johnnys Girlt297
Age: 7|  Weight: 11-5| J: I J McCarthy| T: N Lee
100/1
Debut point winner on soft/heavy last year, and not devoid of ability on her most recent hurdles start. However, pulled up on chase debut when last seen in January and can only watch in this field.

Stones And Roses (11/4), Touch Of Oscar (3/1), Therellalwaysbeone (5/1), Halsafari (13/2), Three Is Company (15/2), Randalls Ur Poet (12/1), Chosen Hour (16/1), Roman Rock (25/1), Archer's Up (25/1), Oskar High (33/1), Shanes Hill Glen (66/1), Olive D'Haguenet (100/1), Johnnys Girl (100/1)

14:35 Cork - 17 November 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

An interesting contest where the suggestion is to side with THREE IS COMPANY, after he produced a good chase debut at Ayr, when there looked likely to be a fair bit more to come. Stones And Roses may emerge as his chief rival, and also ran with credit on his first try over fences. Touch Of Oscar adds another interesting angle on his chase debut, but conditions are surely a slight concern for connections. Others of interest to a lesser extent are Therellalwaysbeone, Randalls Ur Poet and Chosen Hour.
  1. Three Is Company
  2. Stones And Roses
  3. Touch Of Oscar
