Hadn't been setting word alight in recent efforts until the drop back to 1m, into Class 6 company and the return of cheekpieces saw her get off the mark here last Friday. Has a 6lb penalty which leaves her 2lb wrong but down to 7f, hard to dismiss.

Nine-race maiden but failed by just a short-head to get off the mark over C&D four starts ago. Didn't get the best of runs on either of his last two starts at Wolverhampton (7f) and can make the frame with a clear passage.

Ran well over C&D off 1lb lower three starts ago but has disappointed on both runs since, including behind Swansdown last week. Has won off higher marks in the past but will need to bounce back to try and reverse form with the Haggas inmate.

Seven-race maiden on the Flat and hard to know what his best distance is as of yet. Only beaten one rival in his last two runs at Thirsk and Ayr (both 1m) and hasn't been since July. Best watched for now.

Has been struggling on turf recently and his form suggests he is better on the AW, having made the frame in nine of his 18 attempts. Last three wins have been in plating company, however, so even the return AW may not be enough in this handicap.

Has shown his best form on artificial surfaces so far, including getting off the mark at Kempton (7f, Polytrack) two runs ago in good style. Only beaten ¾L attempting to follow-up there last time after missing the break and has strong claims again.

Campaigned between 1m-1m4f last season but showed his liking for a shorter trip when scoring twice at Musselburgh in May over an extended seven furlongs. Improvement will be needed again on his first start for six months to land a belated hat-trick.

Produced poor efforts the last twice at Southwell (1m, Fibresand) and here over 1m last week when 10½L behind Swansdown. Hasn't won for over two years now and difficult to recommend on recent performances.

Won at Carlisle (6f, good to soft) off 2lb lower two runs ago but, despite that form being franked by the placed horses, was well beaten over 6f here four weeks ago. Hasn't been since at his best in four runs over this trip and others preferred.

Dual AW winner who landed a C&D event off 4lb higher 11 months ago. Produced two disappointing efforts, however, since winning at Yarmouth (7f, good to firm) in July and needs to bounce back. Has place claims if he can.

Hasn't really sparkled in seven starts for this yard over 7f/1m on a variety of surfaces. Last seen wearing a blinkers and an eyeshield, which are now replaced with cheekpieces on his first start for 261 days.

Only a few of these have positive recent form to go on and it revolves around SWANSDOWN and Gavi Di Gavi for win purposes. The former got off the mark dropped to 1m here last Friday and, despite being 2lb wrong with a penalty, can get the better of the King inmate after that confidence boost on this surface. Gavi Di Gavi arguably would have won at Kempton last time if not missing the break and will give the selection plenty to think about. Of the rest, Rock Boy Grey has been unlucky at Wolverhampton recently and can go well again with a clear run.
