The most experienced runner in this field she carries a penalty against some potentially useful types which will make life hard. Now given her first try on the AW and at this trip she's likely o come up short for win purposes against this field.

Too green to show anything bar inexperience on her debut over this trip on the Tapeta at Wolverhampton. Slow away she was never on terms; more experience needed before she can make an impact.

Trainer 1-56 with 2yo newcomers since 2015 so unlikely to be ready first-time up. First foal; dam 1m2f/1m3f winner out of smart winner up to 1m4f (2yo 1m winner) Bristol Channel.

Trainer has an 18% strike-rate with his 2yo newcomers since 2015. Half-sister to smart 1m winner Scentasia; dam unraced half-sister to smart winner up to 1m4f Elite Army; yard run three in this, market worth checking for individual confidence.

Two outings so far and hasn't as yet looked the finished article, best described as a work in progress. Still looked very inexperienced last time, likely to do a little better here but looks to need some time to mature.

Frankel filly (hooded for her debut); half-sister to 1m6f winner Garcon de Soleil; dam unraced half-sister to high-class 1m winner Darjina. Trainer 12% strike rate with his 2yo newcomers since 2015; would be of interest with a market move.

Showed ability on her debut over 7f at Leicester racing wide to finish a creditable fourth, effort flattened out at the finish. Ought to do better in time but may need further (bred for stamina); one of a trio that the trainer runs in this.

Sixth on her Newmarket 7f debut when an unheralded 16-1 chance she showed encouragement straight away despite having a pedigree that will improve with age. Far from given a hard race she's the type to do better; looks a leading player.

By Frankel despite being a newcomer she looks the best of the trainer's three chances. Half-sister to smart winner up to 1m2f Winsili (2yo 7f winner); dam 1m2f winner who stayed 1½m. Interesting debutant who could attract plenty of support.

Two starts to her name so far of similar ability on the AW over 6f missing the break at Wolverhampton last time. Given her first try on Polytrack now stepping up to 7f; sort who will be more interesting with a mark in handicaps.

Looks just the sort this yard will do well with as a staying 3yo and these 2yo runs over trips such as this are just for experience. Far too inexperienced to show anything on her debut it will be two/three starts before she's of any interest.

Only a cheap purchase as a foal (20,000 guineas) considering she has an attractive pedigree; wore a tongue-tie for her debut (had a subsequent wind op). Never involved on her initial start it's likely she will need this experience also.

Couple of starts so far for a yard which has had plenty of 2yo success this year. Been too free to do herself justice on both her outings despite showing something to work on for the future; may well do better in handicaps.

Made her debut over 7f at Kempton late last month finishing last of ten and showing very little apart from inexperience. May do better in time but hard to see her making and impact in this company.

Made her debut at Newbury in a race her stablemates finished first and third; she only beat one home looking to need the race (slow away). Hard to expect much more here in a race with some interesting prospects.

17:55 Chelmsford City - 8 November 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

A decent mix of newcomers and more experienced types here with two nicely-bred Frankel newcomers from the John Gosden yard taking the eye. Franconia would likely be the best of that pair and the market will be a big help with the expectations for this one and the same could be said of Charming Rose who also appeals on pedigree. The other newcomer by Frankel Far Rockaway is also of interest but it’s the once-raced Golden Horn filly FOLK DANCE who gets the overall vote after her taking debut at Newmarket. Jeanie B would have claims on her sprinting form but stepping up to 7f is an unknown and there are some fair staying types in this.
  1. Folk Dance
  2. Franconia
  3. Charming Rose
